There was an extra amount of stretch so the bag would not rip. It seems to be stronger than average. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because my husband things the smell is too potent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always apprehensive about scented everyday products, but these Glad ForceFlex with Clorox Tall Kitchen Drawstring Trash Bags with Lemon Fresh Bleach Scent have me rethinking that. The scent is not over powering or triggering (some scents give us headaches) but is quite refreshing and masks the usual bad orders coming from our trash. It’s also nice having the durability from a Glad ForceFlex bag with the combined benefits from Clorox. I would purchase these going forward. I liked that you couldn't see through the bag thus what garbage was in the bag was not visible. It was strong and held all the garbage of the day with easy. The drawstring were easy to pull and did not damage the bag when pulled. The definite bonus was the Clorox lemon scent; it was not strong but helped combat the smells from the dinner odors. A great bag!

The bags are strong and leak proof, which is what I'd expect from the Glad brand. I am not convinced if I'd pick up this specific product relative to other Glad products.
