I am very happy with the breaded fish I tried. After preparing it in the Air Fryer according to the instructions on the packaging, I was thrilled with the outcome. The flavor is great, and the texture is wonderfully crunchy, just like I like it. I loved it!

I prepared my Hook Line and Savor Everything Crusted Cod using the airfryer and the crust came out very nice and crunchy. I liked the flakiness of the fish but it did seem a bit firmer than I expected. I was hoping for a punch of flavor but it was actually a lot more subtle. I had to spice it up with a bit of tartar sauce and a bit more salt and pepper. Overall, the crust was the spotlight.

These smelled delicious upon opening the package. Very simple to cook in the oven or an air fryer. I loved how crunchy and tasty the crust was. They had a delicious taste from all the combined elements - crust & fish along with the seasoning. I also love how thick these are.

This product is a hit or miss. First off, I air fried the cod fillet and it was falling apart after air frying. The crust got soggy. After giving it a taste, I can tell it was heavy on the everything seasoning because I could taste the salt crystals a lot. It was very salty. It also had a very strange sour or lemon taste to it. The aftertaste was not a pleasant one. It tasted salty and sour. My family wasn't a fan of it either. I did like that it's whole cod fillets though and not minced fish. The cod is actually quite delicious and tastes fresh. So that is a plus. I would recommend the product, but in a different flavor/seasoning. Overall, I would purchase it as a quick meal but with a different flavor for sure. The lemon and everything seasoning didn't mix well. The brand needs to use one or the other and use less everything seasoning since it's so salty with the large salt crystals.

This cod was amazing. The picture on the box looked mouthwatering and it definitely did not disappoint/ I prepared it in the oven and the breading came out crispy and flavorful. It gave the cod an amazing salty flavor and a great bite. The fish itself was moist and melted in my mouth. It had a delicate flavor and aroma and made it so i could build it up with seasoning and some lemon. It was easy to prepare and cook and paired really nicely with the included new england tartar sauce.

The Hook Line and Savor Everything Crusted Cod fish fillets are the most premium fish fillet products I have ever eaten. To begin with, they do not have the typical appearance of a frozen fish fillet. Upon pulling them out of the box they very much resemble a breaded chicken breast with the unusual shape and varied thickness of the individual fillets. They are large whole pieces of fish that have been delicately breaded. The thickness of each fillet is not uniform because a whole piece of fish is not uniform. Upon pulling them from the package for the first time I immediately knew this was different from the minced fish fillet products I am accustomed to. The fillets themselves have a great flavor that is better than any fish fillet I have ever had from a restaurant. There is a slight lemon flavor, which I typically do not like, but it was delicate enough in this product that it truly enhanced the flavor of the fish. You will have a hard time going to any restaurant and finding a fillet of similar quality and taste as this product. This is one of the rare instances of a frozen product where you could serve it to guests as being homemade and they will believe you because nobody will have ever seen a product like this in frozen form before. I prepared it in my air fryer, using the instructions on the box, and it was cooked to perfection. The breading was perfectly crispy and the fillet was tender, moist, and juicy. The product far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be buying it again.

After cooking in the oven I took it out and plated it up with some tartar sauce on the side. The fillets were intact and the crust looked crunchy. I cut into the fillet and it was hot and steamy. Picked up the piece with my fork and blew on it a bit to cool it down. I tried the first bite without any sauce. It was crunchy and the fish was tasty and flaky. The everything crust left something to be desired. I love everything bagels and eat them regularly. The crusty everything coating on the fish was crunchy and nutty but lacked the real taste of everything seasoning. It was lacking the salty flavor of everything seasoning. It wasn't bad but just not what I'm used to from an everything coating. If you're buying this because you love the taste of everything seasoning you will be disapointed. Good crunch and nutty flavor and delicious flaky fish.

I am grateful to have been included in receiving this product from Gorton to test "Everything Crusted Cod" and write review. My husband and I are usually reluctant to try breaded fish products but the fillets from Hook,Line and Savor were lightly breaded and the cod flaked as a fresh fillet should. I followed the easy instructions on the box and slightly browned fillets were ready in the recommended baking time. The fillets were almost crispy. My husband who is picky about seasoning was relieved it was a great taste without overly spicy. I thought there was a bit too much salt in the breading but otherwise was really pleased. The fish itself was excellent and the taste and flavor of the fish not overwhelmed by the seasoning. I appreciate a frozen product that is Non GMO verified and simply healthy food. I would purchase this product for a busy day meal because of the convenience of popping in the oven while doing other chores.

Sooooooo good!!! Came out fabulous in my toaster oven / air fryer, just took an extra 5 minutes, probably because the filets are so thick & meaty! Juicy, tasty, and satisfied that craving I've had for breaded fish (because I hate cooking lol). Used to love everything bagels before my celiac dx 13 years ago, so this generous & flavorful crust curbs that craving too! Highly recommend!!!

I received the Everything Crusted Cod fillets from the manufacturer to try and then submit an honest review. I prepared the fillets according to the directions and they turned out very well: the crust was crunchy and the fish was tender and flaky. The fillets tasted great, as they had the mild fish flavor that was enhanced by the everything seasoning. I liked the seasoning very much, but I have to admit I would have preferred a bit less salt. I feel that a little less salt in the seasoning would have allowed the other ingredients in the seasoning to shine through more.
