[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mattress and box spring for about 6 weeks and have used it everyday since it was delivered and it's a little too firm for me. So I added an egg crate topper and a pillow top mattress pad topper and that helped with the firmness. I believe this mattress is well made because the stitching is good. Also, my wife and I are larger size and it holds both of our weights well. My pets like it, they jump and roll around on it. Aside from being slightly more firm than I would like it's also pretty tall. I'm about 5'5" and it sits at my waist line. All in all it's a good mattress, but firm, a little too tall for me, but it's made well and if you prefer a firmer mattress it will work well for you.

Me I prefer a more firm mattress but this mattress is so comfortable I can get used to a softer mattress. This mattress also seems to be well designed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a fan of firm mattresses but have found that I will need to get over that, because as I get older, my back doesn't tolerate really soft mattresses. My biggest complaint about the firm mattresses I've tried is that it felt like I was sleeping on the floor! But the Beautyrest mattress is different, it's firm but also cozy! I can lay on it and feel comfortable and that makes a huge difference to me. I definitely feel the support! My back is a fan!

My partner and I upgraded from a queen bed to a king and have enjoyed the extra room (my dog has appreciated it as well :) This mattress is really quite firm. It was slightly firmer than I like, so I added a thin mattress topper and it has been perfect. The mattress is also very thick. Make sure you get sheets that fit a thicker mattress. I also got Beautyrest box springs with this mattress. We tried putting them on top of our 10" bed frame and it ended up being too tall for us. If you use the box spring and mattress, make sure you have a very very short frame. Overall I am very happy with the mattress and am glad that I finally upgraded to a Beautyrest.

So I decided to try this plush one and now I am sleeping the best I have in years! It's comfortable and supportive. I melt into my bed now and don't want to leave it. We had been needing a new bed for a long time, we just couldn't afford it. This mattress s PERFECT for both of us since we both have neck and back issues. We have NEVER slept this good in a very long time!!! The extra firm is the best mattress I have ever experienced!!! The delivery people were very courteous and prompt considering it was a snowstorm when they delivered it!!!! All I can keep saying is what an AWESOME gift!!

Both my husband and I were having back/neck issues and trouble sleeping but didn’t make the connection. After getting this mattress that all changed! I was afraid the mattress was going to be too firm and for the first couple of nights it did feel that way. Around the third night of sleeping on it though it was perfect! It has the right amount of firmness that my back and neck needs! I sleep soundly now and my back and neck aren’t achy anymore. My husband doesn’t toss and turn all night either! If only we had gotten this mattress sooner!!

I had to do a double take thinking I was delivered the wrong model. But I gave it a try.over the past couple of weeks the foam has begun to provide more give now. Just slightly though. Maybe over time it will have more give. But from a. Sleep o fort standpoint, I have been sleeping great! It is pretty thick. I had another mattress that had the same height, yet this seems taller still. So far I am enjoying the rest, I hope it doesn’t begin to sag too quickly though like my last mattress did within its first year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with how comfortable this mattress is. It did not have a pillow top, yet there was a plushness to it that made it feel like it was a pillow top. The overall size of the mattress is very tall, but it still fit our deep fitted sheets and mattress pad we already had. I do not awaken in the night when my partner moves around, nor vice versa. My only complaint would be the sides could use more support so if you sit on the site of the bed, it won't sink in as much. It keeps me cool at night, and doesn't seem to radiate heat as much as my old mattress. There also didn't seem to be an odor with this mattress as there have been with other new mattresses I've purchased in the past. I no longer wake up feeling sore and tired.
