This box springs is awesome! I was surprised to find it came unassembled but it was super easy to put together.

The box spring has to be assembled with all of the pieces. I didn't see that in the description. Be prepared.

Every thing was well marked for easy assembly. Took less that 30 minutes to put together. Seemed to be well built also.

Put two of these together in less than 30 minutes. Solid, sturdy and visually pleasing. Paired with 8inch memory foam mattresses for my little girls.

Missing fastener package (unacceptable quality control, should never happen). Fortunately, I also purchased a queen size frame so knew what was needed and quick trip to hardware store resolved. Otherwise, easy to assemble and appears sturdy.

I wanted a box spring that I didn't have to worry if the wood pieces were cracked and it would be a matter time. I came across this metal box spring and thought I'd give it a chance to see if it were sturdy. The put together time was painless. So far no creaks & it's steady so far.I 2nd guessed the slacks but with the Velcro it absolutely worked better than anticipated. The cover lining was definitely a nice touch. I do prefer a dark grey or black but a very nice design. I am impressed so far. Some might find it unconventional and yes it is but I understand the concept so it works. 4 stars it needs b/c of only 1 color skirt...

Great foundation for a bed at a price that can't be beat. I looked all over for a replacent for the box springs for my matress. I settled for the Zinus metal bed foundation. Technically it is not a set of box springs but the term is in the description so it can come up in searches for "box springs". I knew ahead of time that it would come as a kit and needed assembly. I saw the same item in other websites, and saw that it required assembly. Sam's Club had the absolute lowest price for this item, plus as a Plus member, I was eligible for free shipping. The package came with everything necessary to assemble the foundation. The only thing not included that could be useful is a wooden or plastic headed mallet for nudging the parts into proper alignment for securing bolts. The instructions were Euro style diagrams with barely any words, but they did show all the parts labeled along with the number of them and the way they fit together. It comes with a handy allen wrench ratchet tool for tightening all the bolts. That allen wrench is a standard size for furniture bolts, and it just happened to fit the bolts for the headboard/footboard furniture by bed sits in. I used that ratchet to re-tighten all the bolts in the furniture before placing the new foundation inside it. After that I placed my mattress on top. The new foundation rejuvenated my mattress. It feels very solid and gives more support than the original box springs I got with the mattress. A other beneft. If You move, all You need to do is disassemble it. It's much more convenient than moving a conventional set of box springs.

Title says it all. When it showed up in a box, it was obvious I missed the part about having to assemble. Hubby was not happy LOL. However, I am happy to report that the box spring went together so easily with the included tools and hubby even reminded me to be sure to give this company kudos for such an easy to assemble item. Don't be hesitant because you have to assemble yourself. Good quality and a great price!
