I’m not a huge fizzy drinks person but every now and then there is nothing better than a nice cold can of coke. It’s always the right amount of fizz, has a lovely taste and is very refreshing. There are cheaper alternatives but nothing can beat it so as a treat every now and then it’s worth the cost.

When I think of the Coke and Pepsi challenge, I'm confused as to why there is a challenge in the first place. Not only is Coke super affordable, it has the best taste in the soda category hands down! Firstly, I love the bite that it has to the tongue on the first few swallows. I don't buy it as often as I'd like because I know it's not very good for me (my daughter scolds by saying, "Mom, it's basically sugar-water!") and I do listen but not for very long periods of time. I usually just get an occasional can (NOT PLASTIC BOTTLE-again per my girl!) out of the vending machine where I live for a DOLLAR--when did pop start costing so much?!--I think it was a quarter when I was a youngster... It does tend to give you a bit of an energy burst after drinking a can-most likely due to the sugar and the caffeine, but I do love treating myself to one every now and then! I've heard of people having indigestion problems after drinking Coca-Cola, but that's never been the case for me...
