The obvious disclaimer is that none of the raters here are actually users (hopefully). It has every appearance to be a great mattress as a Sealy Baby Posturepedic. I bought it for the great reviews and I have nothing less to say about the quality I detect by look and feel. It is a two-stage, flip-side mattress to accommodate either infant or older toddler, especially for those applications where the crib converts to a small bed.

This mattress was just what I was looking for. It basically grows with baby! I love that I can use the one side for the crib now and as my grandson grows and I turn the crib into a toddler bed I can just flip the mattress for that stage of his life! He loves the mattress!

Very comfortable and fits perfectly in my lil guy crib.

I got overwhelmed trying to figure out what mattress to buy. Decided on this one because the price seemed reasonable and the reviews were mostly positive. It came in a bag, inside a box. Clean, no odor, and feels pretty firm (with just a little bit of give). Fits the crib pretty well (Delta Lancaster 4-in-1). Little beb will be here in a month so we don’t know how it functions just yet (and also they’ll be sleeping in a bassinet for awhile anyway). But overall it looks and feels like a great deal.

I saw the other comments about how this is small so i was a bit worried but turns out it fits the standard toddler bed just fine! This bed is WAY better then the Ortho that they also sell. I posted this under the Sealy Ortho mattress as well just so people know, do yourself a favor and get this one. Don't cheap out on your kid and get the 50$ one, its not nearly as nice as this one is.

The outside cardboard box was opened. Removed mattress and could see a lot of black specks of something on the mattress through the plastic bag. Returned mattress to local Sams Club for a refund. No problems returning the mattress

TLDR: seems awesome but appears to be unsafe. I really wanted to love the mattress since it has a waterproof cotton cover, toddler and infant side and is a inner spring mattress. When I opened the box it was wrapped in plastic, the cotton cover looked nice, had a sheen and a simple yet elegant pattern on it. Label clearly marked toddler vs infant side. Infant side was firm with a little padding, the toddler side was noticeably more plush, and the mattress had good bounce. I was happy and excited about it until I got it in the crib. I was hugely disappointed that it was too small for a standard sized crib. I could easily put my forearm in the gap left at both the vertical and horizontal edge. Swapped it in my toddler's bed and still had significant gaps. I wanted to keep it but ultimately my children's safety is more important than what appears to be a quality mattress. I will be returning this and find a mattress that fits more snugly. I tried this mattress in a babyletto gelato and a delta children's casey crib with a mattress protector and sheet. Y'all I'm really sad about this, I'm a same day/next day delivery type person, so to have to wait for days on shipping for what I thought to be a 5 star product only to be disappointed that the dimensions are so far off it makes me question the safety of it, ugh! :(
