The obvious disclaimer is that none of the raters here are actually users (hopefully). It has every appearance to be a great mattress as a Sealy Baby Posturepedic. I bought it for the great reviews and I have nothing less to say about the quality I detect by look and feel. It is a two-stage, flip-side mattress to accommodate either infant or older toddler, especially for those applications where the crib converts to a small bed.

This mattress was just what I was looking for. It basically grows with baby! I love that I can use the one side for the crib now and as my grandson grows and I turn the crib into a toddler bed I can just flip the mattress for that stage of his life! He loves the mattress!

this mattress quickly won us over. I was first thoroughly impressed with how thick and comfortable it was fight me just pressing on it. I was been impressed that one side is used as a baby mattress, and the other is used for toddlers. At first I used it with my toddler, and she slept soundly for a good week. she also always woke up in a excellent mood. Then I switch the mattress over to the baby's side and used it with my three month old. she slept great. It was such a night and day difference were the mattress we were using she always kind of sunk in for this mattress it was firm and uncomfortable where I was not concerned about her sinking into the mattress itself. It fit our crib perfectly, which is a plus. Also our sheets worked great with it as well even though the mattress is on the thicker side. I also enjoy how it is made to help protect my kids. I know I am going to get many years out of mattress between my two girls oh, and I can't wait to recommend this to all my other mom friends.

I received this Sealy baby posturepedic grace 2-stage crib and toddler mattress. This is a really nice high quality mattress. This is a memory foam and coil mattress. The mattress material is soft. My baby loves it. She sleeps all night without waking up. Also during the day when she takes a nap. She sleeps really peaceful. I also like that the mattress is waterproof. This is a mattress that your baby could use for a long time. I would definitely recommend this to freinds and family. Or to anybody looking for a really nice mattress for their baby.

The outside cardboard box was opened. Removed mattress and could see a lot of black specks of something on the mattress through the plastic bag. Returned mattress to local Sams Club for a refund. No problems returning the mattress

TLDR: seems awesome but appears to be unsafe. I really wanted to love the mattress since it has a waterproof cotton cover, toddler and infant side and is a inner spring mattress. When I opened the box it was wrapped in plastic, the cotton cover looked nice, had a sheen and a simple yet elegant pattern on it. Label clearly marked toddler vs infant side. Infant side was firm with a little padding, the toddler side was noticeably more plush, and the mattress had good bounce. I was happy and excited about it until I got it in the crib. I was hugely disappointed that it was too small for a standard sized crib. I could easily put my forearm in the gap left at both the vertical and horizontal edge. Swapped it in my toddler's bed and still had significant gaps. I wanted to keep it but ultimately my children's safety is more important than what appears to be a quality mattress. I will be returning this and find a mattress that fits more snugly. I tried this mattress in a babyletto gelato and a delta children's casey crib with a mattress protector and sheet. Y'all I'm really sad about this, I'm a same day/next day delivery type person, so to have to wait for days on shipping for what I thought to be a 5 star product only to be disappointed that the dimensions are so far off it makes me question the safety of it, ugh! :(
