There is no thermostat, and the unit is designed to run continuously.<br /><br />To prevent excessive fan noise, place the unit on a firm level surface with adequate clearance for ventilation. Make certain to keep the ventilation grills and fan blades clear of dust/lint/hair.

False branding and crappy product.

Failed after 18 months. No longer cools. Called a couple of local places to repair. Won't touch. It isn't really a Frigidaire. Made by some outfit called Curtis International. They are of NO help whatsoever once out of warranty. Whatever you buy make sure not from Curtis International. Should be interesting as I did buy the Square Trade warranty. Now just have to find someone that likes to work on crap.
