In 2 years I've gone through 4 beds. Tempurpedic is my 5th and last. It was a daunting journey after having a bed for 23yrs and it was time for a new one. The problem was trying to adapt to all the new memory foam beds after being on a traditional bed. All I can say is stick with it for at least 2 months. Your body will eventually adapt. With my first foam bed 2 years ago it took me 6 months to adapt. Then I traded it in for a different foam bed due to a defect and that bed caused a major hip injury to flare up. Now 2 beds later I have the Temperpedic and I wish it was my first foam bed. Have to say Temperpedic's foam is completely different than any other I have slept on in the last 2 years. It took me about 4 weeks to adapt and I just stuck with it and now I can't wait to crawl into bed! It's a feeling I can't describe it's just different and my hip is finally happy. My husband also loves it!! I wont go back to any other bed!

I never imagined a mattress could make my life better before now. I've lacked sleept for the last 10 months due to 2 cervical disc issues. This bed and adjustable base provides everything I need to help my horrible symptoms that prevented me from sleeping prior. Our innerspring mattress was 10 years old and we had been waking up with aches, pains and not feeling rested. Mind you, we are in our early 30's. We tried out all the tempur-pedic pro adapt models in store and settled on the king size medium hybrid. The adjustment period was literally a matter of days for us. The medium hybrid provides the perfect amount of support without being too firm for us and I think the transition from innerspring to memory foam was really easy because it's a hybrid. We look forward to going to bed every night and wake up feeling refreshed with no aches and pains. It has really helped improve our alignment as well. Wish we would have bought this sooner. We also bought the ergo base and love spending time in bed reading in zero gravity. Can't recommend this mattress enough! Pricey but well worth it. We have had our mattress almost 4 months.

My husband and I have very different sleeping patterns. He stays up all night. So, he's up moving around or getting in and out of the bed. It used to wake me up every single night. But, since we've gotten the Pro Adapt I have not been woken up by his movements at all. I rarely even feel him moving anymore! Also, he is a back sleeper and I am a side/stomach sleeper. So, it was always a chanlleng​e finid​ng a bed that worked for both of us and this bed did just that! So happy with our purchase!

I bought the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid Mattress a little over a year ago. I loved it at first and but within 9 months I began to wake up with a stiff back. I thought it was just me until I slept in another bed and felt fine in the morning. This bed is terrible, and unfortunately, you may not realize until it's too late. And Tempurpedic will do nothing for you. It's become an exceedingly expensive clothes rack, as I refuse to sleep on it. DO NOT BUY THIS BED.

This mattress has met our expectations. I wasn't sure at first because you can't just roll over like you would on conventional mattress. It takes some getting used to. It didn't take long and I don't know when I roll over. I never feel any motion from my partner.

We went with the Temper-ProAdapt Soft for both of us....We love them. More comfortable than our old mattress! We ordered them directly with Tempur-Pedic, and have had a great experience. There are no words to describe how much more comfortable our bed feels. My wife and I sleep solidly through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and pain free. Just the feeling of crawling into bed at night and crawling out in the morning is magical. We are amazed at how our new mattress has improved the overall quality of life. We were skeptical about buying it at first because it was expensive but now having slept on it for a couple of weeks we have absolutely no regrets, it is worth every penny!!!!!

I have two other tempurpedic beds in my house (one of a higher level and one of a lower level of tempurpedic) and this one easily compares to the higher level bed! There is the perfect amount of softness, while also having enough firmness to it. The bed scoops you in comfortably and allows for a restful night of sleep. I can honestly say I fall asleep quicker and do not toss and turn while sleeping in this bed. I wake up feeling refreshed after a restful night of sleep in this bed. I have always recommended tempurpedic beds and will continue to do so after being able to review this product.
