We checked out the pro adapt at a local furniture store and decided that the firm has just the right amount of softness for us. We compared it to the medium pro adapt which we thought was too soft. All said and done, the firm that we ordered directly from Tempur-pedic has absolutely no softness unlike the one that was in the local furniture store. It is like sleeping on a rock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the most comfortable mattress ever, it took about a week to adjust but pains are gone. I feel rested. The only issue is that it dies run o the warm side. I find myself uncovered or just covered with a quilt. Pricing is a bit high.

I love this mattress. I've had a Tempurpedic mattress for almost 20 years. When we bought a split king bed, I chose a soft mattress for my side after years of the medium firmness my husband likes. I prefer to sleep on my side and I'm finally waking up without a sore shoulder. I highly recommend this mattress for any side sleeper.

When Tempur-Pedic says Firm, they really do mean Firm. It may take a few nights of sleep, to get use it. One thing that really made a difference, we purchased the Tempur-Pedic sheets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very impressed with the Tempur-Pedic Medium Hybrid Pro Adapt mattress. As purchasing a mattress is a very big decision, like most, we spent quite a long time trying out many different brands and firmness levels. Tempur-Pedic is in a league of its own. The medium-hybrid pro-adapt has the perfect amount of firmness (and we tend to learn towards a more firm mattress) while still providing the comfort needed for a good nights sleep. The delivery of the mattress was seamless and we have enjoyed each night slept since we received the mattress. It does take a few weeks to get used to the feeling of the mattress as it is different from what we were accustomed to. I highly recommend this product to all and firmly believe it is worth the investment. We will have and enjoy this mattress for many years to come.

My wife Loves the new be as for me I wish there was a middle ground between softer bed and this medium hybrid. I really like a little more of that feeling of a sinking in. If you are a HOT sleeper all the fancy sheets, Hybrid technology does not totally resolve the heat problem. It is Cool when getting in bed and if when you do get hot you just have to move to cool of for a short period of time. Talking to others all the new memory foam beds have this issue with heat no matter how many fancy features they add. Quality wise this bed is made to last

Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. Me da pena porque después de casi tres meses, mi colchón todavía no se siente suave y cómodo. Por otro lado, estuve enferma en cama por una semana y nunca experimenté dolor de espalda como en otras ocasiones con otros colchones después de estar en cama tanto tiempo.

This mattress was purchased as a last resort after years of medical and non-traditional remedies failed to address insomnia. The TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm mattress is just what the doctor didn't know to order. I have sweet, uninterrupted dreams again. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely hesitant to spend close to $4k on a bed, but having slept on a friend's tempurpedic for 3 nights with significantly less back pain, I knew it was worth it. After 9 mos of a herniated L5-S1, I am finally sleeping soundly.

Fell in love with this bed. Helps provide relief for my bulging L4 L5 disc in my back. Also has helped me to stay in REM sleep longer than before. Oddly enough I've become a back sleep when I was a habitual side sleeper. If we ever need a new mattress, we'll definitely be getting a tempurpedic.
