We have had our ProAdapt for about 3 weeks now and are still getting used to it - it is a huge departure from a conventional mattress and box spring. We both like the support we are getting, but find it a bit difficult to roll over and we find it "warm" (although that could be the change season too). I think with a bit more time we would probably give it 5-stars.

We purchased a King Tempur-ProAdapt in firm. After seven months, we wish we could undo this purchase. Our previous two mattresses were both firm, traditional independent coil. This would be our first memory foam mattress. Neither my wife nor I sleep consistently well on the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress chases you off it - I literally find myself getting out of bed in the morning because I can no longer stand the discomfort my body is feeling, specifically, pain through my pelvis and hip region as well as sore shoulders and numb arms. The hip and pelvis pain is with me continually and the sad part is I have learned to live with it. Recently, a second seven day vacation away from our Tempur-Pedic, I realized my hip/pelvis and shoulders stop hurting within a day or two. I spoke with Tempur-Pedic, but their response was to keep the room cool and to consider purchasing their mattress topper which would *maybe* help soften things up. I never stated this mattress is too firm, there is more to it than that. This mattress brought pain my mid-40's body has never felt. Read reviews and if you're having problems early on, react immediately, we're stuck with this thing now and we'll have to absorb a second mattress purchase in under a year. They claim their customer service is so great, why not try to help someone and send them a mattress topper after they just spent thousands on your product and are now afraid to use it.

This mattress is amazing. I had a memory foam mattress from another company for awhile. I purchased the Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Hybrid with the Ease adjustable base. It's amazing. It's so comfortable and the base makes it so much better sleeping. I put it in zero G and wake up refreshed every day. I combined it with a Tempur Cloud pillow and it's also great. The mattress isn't too soft or firm. I'm comfortable and supported. No motion transfer, my kids jump on it to wake me up and I can't feel them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has got to be the best mattress I've ever laid on, I feel like it molds to my body and is the perfect amount of firm. My room gets extremely hot and I feel like it's a very cooling mattress. The quality is outstanding and it feels extremely well made, definitely worth the price and feels like it will last for years and years. Will be buying for our other bedrooms in the house as well.

I paid thirty-seven hundred for this mattress less than 3 years prior to writing this review. The sidewall where I get onto the bed has collapsed and there is a massive section of mattress that is sagging about 10 inches. Sometimes I have even rolled off the bed there. I filed a warranty claim which was rejected. They made several assertions about why it was rejected none of which actually applied to my mattress. They claimed the cover was damaged even though the cover was not even on it in the photos I sent. They claimed I did not use a cover despite there being a cover on the same reciept. In fact I have used two covers most of the time. They then claimed it mattress had not been stored properly but it had never been stored and was in the same place on the same base when it was delivered. The damage was literally only because on getting on and off the bed. I am not overweight or anything like that either. If they think I am just going to stay silent after spending so much less than 3 years ago they are mistaken. I am not faced with taking the company to court to get this solved. Terrible company, terrible product.

Excellent quality mattress The proadapt firm! take some getting used to (firm) I've had it for about a month, when you switch to a different mattress there is going to be some adjustments. so as of now I take it day by day and hope I get used to it fully if not I will just switch over to the medium they give you 90 days.

I have had this a week now and really hope it will get softer over time. I came from a sealy I series in medium that was too soft so I went with the firm in Tempur-Pedic. It is way too firm. Time will tell but right now not happy with the back aches I have every morning. A lot of money of for something I cannot use.

This bed has officially won me over as a Tempurpedic customer! I will be honest and say the first two nights I received it, I woke with a pretty significant back ache. We had been using a foam mattress previously, but for whatever reason my back was not adjusting to a different kind of foam [the medium hybrid.] After a couple of nights however, that went away completely and I woke feeling rested and GOOD! My husband who is a back sleeper, immediately did great on this bed and he too loves it. The thing I love the most is that I don't feel him rolling over as much in the middle of the night. He basically does acrobats when he switches positions, and this type of cushion prevents the other sleeper from feeling it so extreme! The brand itself is great, they are helpful when you have questions, and overall, the company just really seems amazing. We are very pleased!

I'm very happy with this mattress and I slept good on this Temper ProAdapt Soft mattress. This is recommended mattress for the side sleepers after I did the mattress questionnaire. Only bad thing about it is that the frame has huge staple shape metal frame that hold the mattress at the foot end where I lean on to put on socks or pant. It was so uncomfortable to lean on the foot end of the bed. So now I lean on near the corner instead.

For me, it does help my back pain because I been having back pain for a long time. This products does help me support my back while i'm sleeping on it.
