We were experiencing back pain and a sunken down mattress that just did not provide a good nights sleep. We have never owned a Tempur-Pedic before and decided to try one. While it took some getting use to (the feeling is very difference than a regular mattress), we really like the hybrid mattress and now have less back pain while having a good nights sleep.

I used this mattress for 7 months before exchanging it. I think it is a high quality mattress which just happened to not be the best choice for me; I have exchanged it for another Tempurpedic model. For reference, I am male, 5'10", 175 lb and sleep on my side. I chose the ProAdapt Soft because it felt very comfortable at the store. My old mattress had made my shoulders sore and I wanted that to stop. Pros: 1. Once broken in, I felt no pressure on my shoulders or hips. 2. Mattress sleeps cool when you get to bed and as you fall asleep, even in the summer. 3. It was comfortable to sleep or sit on the edge of this mattress, even at the corners. I never felt I would fall off. 4. It felt well made. Cons. A. It took long for the mattress to break in and feel truly comfortable. About 3 months. B. What initially was a niggling sensation on my side, towards my hip, because full-blown soreness after 4 months or so. I later realized that my hips were sinking in too much. This is why I had the mattress exchanged. C. In summer, the mattress got very warm (but not quite hot) after several hours. When I woke up in the middle of the night or in the morning, I felt very warm. I would advise buyers of this mattress to: - If buying at a store, try it not just for comfort, but also alignment. Go with a friend and even take pictures if you can to assess how straight your spine is. - If buying at a store, make sure the return policy is good. - If you are a hot sleeper, this mattress may not be a good choice. It is initially cool but gets warm later. I will recommend this mattress because I think it will work for some people, perhaps those much lighter in weight than I am.

This is a replacement for an original Tempur mattress. Before purchasing this mattress we did a lot of trying other mattresses, on line research etc. Once we laid on this new Tempur we wondered why we even thought about a different brand. The adjustable base makes it even better Best sleep I've had in a year since having shoulder surgery

My boyfriend and I had recently moved to a new apartment and had our mattress damaged during the moving process. We needed a mattress and fast! We tried every mattress in the store and could not find something we liked until on our way out we laid down on the Tempur-ProAdapt Soft. It was like no other mattress in the store! It was extremely comfortable, minimal to no motion transfer, and the best support. After going to about 5 different mattress stores and laying down on over 75 beds we returned to purchase the Tempur-ProAdapt Soft. We have had this mattress for a month now and I have had the best sleep ever. My back feels amazing when I wake up in the morning, I can't feel my partner move around in the middle of the night, and I never want to leave my bed. If anyone has trouble deciding if they want this mattress based on the price, it will be worth every penny! I will forever be sleeping on a Tempur-Pedic mattress! Also don't forget to purchase a pair of Tempur-Pedic pillows to go with this amazing bed.

my husband and I purchased a tempuric mattress in 2021. The first months of use we loved our mattress. However, today, with two years of use, we clearly feel that the mattress is very sunken where we sleep. We feel a hole where we lay. Both me and my husband are feeling a lot of back pain, especially when waking up, we believe that this is due to the mattress being completely uneven, lumpy, sagging and without structure. I would like to point out that we are not fat, so there is no overweight on the mattress and we don't spend many hours lying down either. We go to bed around 10 pm and wake up between 7 am and 9 am. It's not worth the price, for in two years the mattress will be completely bad, uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on.

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. We got the firm split king with adjustable base based on recommendations of back dr and Physical therapist. It felt great in the store ( after hundreds had tried it out) and I was warned it would take some time to break in, so I'm trying to be patient. It is getting better and I have high hopes. The two big problems is the bottom sheet constantly pulling out and never being really tight while sleeping. The second is making the bed! It's near impossible to make it tight . The corners stay put but the middle never stays that way. I added a very good mattress pad and it helps some. I have ordered QuickZip sheets because changing the sheets weekly is just way to difficult as we are older. Hopefully that will make a big difference and waiting for the shipment to arrive. I'm looking forward to the bed getting more comfortable.

We went into the store to buy a box spring for our son and walked out with box, mattress for him and new mattress for us. After having left lower back pain for years, after sleeping on our new mattress for about 6 weeks now my back pain has about 85% resolved. It was recommended to turn mattress frequently at first, once a month, so that it would get evenly adjusted with the weight differences. Our new mattress has been a lifesaver and I wish I had replaced my old one much sooner. We are loving it.

Bought this to replace my son's bed and he loves it. He sleeps better and says it is very comfortable. We did get an adjustable base, and he really likes to zero gravity feature. Sometimes he has to lay flat though if he is moving around a lot, the zero gravity prevents his turning over all the way.

I am 34 years old and have been struggling with reoccurring back pain (from an injury that happened 7 years ago). I noticed with my last flare up that the pain was just getting worse and I'd toss and turn all night in excruciating pain (with my old mattress). I finally decided it was time to kick the old mattress to the curb and see if it was just adding to the problem... SO glad I did. I've never owned any kind of memory foam bed and I'm a side sleeper so this was a big change for me. Since the first nights sleep my back pain had completely diminished. I am a skeptical person, but it's been over 30 days now and my back/hip pain is gone. This mattress isn't too soft and it's not too firm, it's the perfect in between. I've even been falling asleep on my back (I've always been a side and tummy sleeper). I also decided to splurge and get the adjustable bed frame (they offered a good package deal), me and the hubby are quite happy with it... ;) I never leave reviews on anything but just not having to deal with the agitating back pain anymore is a pretty big deal to me, I love this mattress!!
