The mattress, etc. was delivered on Feb. 13th. It is distinctly different from our former mattress. First, it has a soft top and firm inner support. Thus far, we find it very comfortable. My husband was unable to sleep on our former mattress because of hip and back issues. The Tempur-Ergo adjustable base is an additional plus.

I wake up feeling refreshed because I'm not tossing and turning at night. The removable cover is a huge plus as well. I don't have anything negative to say about this mattress. I read reviews that the mattress sleeps hot but I did not find this to be true.

My old Tempurpedic had started to get too soft after atleast 15 years of use. I started to have trouble sleeping with lower back pain again. I checked out some other brands but they just didn't feel right when I tested them out. The minute I tried out a new Tempurpedic I knew i had found the right mattress. It took about a week to get used to the firmness of the new mattress - the first few days felt like sleeping on plywood but after about a week my backache is gone and I'm sleeping great again. Tempurpedics are expensive but they are worth the money.

Bought this mattress with hopes of eliminating pain in my hips and my back. All it has done it made worse. I also wake up with numbness in my tailbone area and my entire back hurts. Cannot get comfortable and am unable to sleep for more than a few hours at a time on it. Also the mattress retains way too much heat regardless of room temperature. Will not be buying another Tempur pedic mattress and frankly can't wait to get rid of this one and find a different brand.

We absolutely love the hybrid pro adapt from the cooling feature to the comfort of a coil and memory foam mattress. This mattress we have been in love with now for 5 months and cant wait for many more awesome sleep nights! We just cant wait to go to bed at night. The ergo frame was also worth the purchase with the mattress. Thanks Tempur for such an amazing product.

OMG when I tell you, it's the best night's rest you will ever get, this mattress fits my comfort so well. Other mattresses I have used in the past left my entire body sore the next morning. Now I wake up without pain. I couldn't wait to return from vacay to get in my bed. Oh, what a night I had. The only thing I'm unhappy about is that I did not purchase the one that goes up and down. Our first Tempurpedic mattress was 19 years old, and the "original" memory foam mattress. We started shopping, looking at the "competitors". Then we said, "We know we love our Tempurpedic, so why switch?". After calling Tempurpedic and telling them we wanted the "exact same" support as our first mattress, they pointed us to the Proadapt firm. The first night, I couldn't sleep and thought we had made a bad decision. The second night, to today, sleep is amazing. No waking up sore or achy. My husband and I both have back issues, his are worse. Since we purchased our first Tempurpedic, his back has been so much better. Can't brag on this mattress enough! Beware, it is REALLY FIRM!

I'm a light (110 lbs) side sleeper with mild lower back pain. Initially I bought the classic medium thinking it would be the best fit for my needs, however within a few weeks it felt like it was sinking so I exchanged it for the Pro Adopt Firm. At first I thought I made a huge mistake because it felt like I was sleeping on a board and gave me shoulder pain but after 3 months it is a dream!! I was worried it would continue to bother my shoulders but now I don't have any pain with all the comfort of a firm mattress. If you like a firm mattress and have lower back pain this is for you but you must give it the full 90 days to adapt to your body. It's a firm cloud that will last!

My husband and I have very different sleeping patterns. He stays up all night. So, he's up moving around or getting in and out of the bed. It used to wake me up every single night. But, since we've gotten the Pro Adapt I have not been woken up by his movements at all. I rarely even feel him moving anymore! Also, he is a back sleeper and I am a side/stomach sleeper. So, it was always a chanlleng​e finid​ng a bed that worked for both of us and this bed did just that! So happy with our purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress was delivered as expected. Didn't have too much of a memory foam smell/smell dissipated quickly. Very comfortable to sleep on. I'd had a full memory foam Tempur-Pedic mattress in the past. The new hybrid is definitely better for me though. The increased edge support in particular is nice so I don't feel like I'm falling off the bed when I'm close to the edge.
