I was so excited about our new mattress! I was told it would take a few months to break in and my back to not hurt in the morning. Well it's been over six months and both my husband and I have terrible lower back pain when we get up every morning and it's getting worse! I wake up after about 6 hours of sleep because my back hurts and I can't fall back asleep. Without increasing my pain medications, I am limited to less then 8 hours of sleep on my new mattress, the whole point of getting a new mattress was to help my back pain and not need to take medication! What a waste of money we haven't even paid yet since we financed through a furniture company we are stuck paying for it and will probably have to start sleeping on our 20 year old Sealy postur-pedic again.

We bought this mattress 3 weeks ago and it is just amazing to wake up every morning WITHOUT my typical back pain. I did a lot of research before we made this expensive purchase, but it is worth every penny. We just hope the mattress will last as promised. Thanks for creating such a good product.

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems, I called the number for Tempur-Pedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since I did not buy the mattress direct from Tempur-Pedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufacturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempur-Pedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempur-Pedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempur-Pedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

Probably a good product for some, but have used it three weeks and have developed upper shoulder and neck pain that I did not have before. It is a LOT firmer than the one I tried at the store. I was assured it will get a little less firm, but nothing yet. Also doesn't release heat very well. I guess overall, I am not pleased with the product when compared to the amount it cost. I will give it a few more weeks, then if nothing gets better I will take advantage of the return policy.

We have had our mattress for 4 weeks. It was rough at first. Mattress was very firm and had to be "broken in" It took 3 weeks but now I'm getting the best sleep! For my husband it only took a few days. I am a side sleeper but this bed feels so good I notice I stay on my back longer than usual. My husband said his back is no longer hurting and he feels refreshed when he wake up. I notice I can get right up and don't feel tired in the morning. This mattress conforms to you but you don't sink in so low that you can't change positions. Edge support is awesome! We got the Ease adjustable base and we will never lay flat again lol We didn't realize what we were missing having an old broke down mattress! So far so good!

Not sure it was the right decision to purchase this mattress. The sales person did a great job selling his product. For example, "Once you sleep on a Tempurpedic, you won't sleep well on a hotel mattress." I don't find that to be true. Considering the price paid, I had high expectations. I don't think the mattress is making a significant difference in my sleep. I don't find it to be any better, or worse, than my previous, less-expensive mattress. I believe I could have spent less and gotten a different brand product that would have been just as good.

The mattress they recommended is awful. Couldn't sleep on it. Called them,chatted with them. Asked to return. I'm sitting here with a worthless mattress and nobody has helped to start a return. A whole week and I'm told I'll hear back by Oct 6th. What???? I would have upgraded to a more expensive mattress but no one seems to want my purchase. I have a credit line with Wells Fargo for the upgrade. They have lost a long time customer. Unheard of behavior.

We recently purchased our 3rd Tempur-Pedic mattress set in 25+ years. I guess you could say we are "hooked". Our newest T-P mattress is the TEMPUR-Adapt, and may be the best yet. Extremely comfortable! The T-P mattress that the Adapt replaced is now being used in our guest bedroom, and our recent guests raved how comfortable their 3 nights on the 9 year old T-P mattress. Obviously, there remains very useful life for a 9 year old mattress. My wife and I expect and anticipate many comfortable, restful nights on our new TEMPUR-Adapt mattress set. Our only comment ("things we don't love") regarding the new TEMPUR-Adapt would be the "slickness" of the bottom surface of the mattress and the top surface of the box foundation. The "slickness" causes the bottom bed sheet to creep loose during the night requiring an almost remake of the bed. We are not restless sleepers, exactly the opposite (dead-zone sleepers). To date, we have found no acceptable solution to this annoying problem. It matters not what material the sheet sets are made of, we have tried several different fabrics with good cotton sheets being the least susceptible. Your thoughts, comments, and/or solutions will be greatly appreciated. All else being considered, we would likely never be without our Tempur-Pedic!!

I have waited almost 6 months before writing a review to give the mattress time to break in. My one word review is: disappointing. I have dreamed of owning one of these for over a decade and finally bought one of Black Friday of 2023. It feels nice enough when you lay on it as the matress forms around your body. It did help with neck pain I was having and some of my back aches from the previous matress. But, after just a few months the back aches have returned. Some nights I can't find a comfortable position and get up early as my back is hurting too much. I am sad that I am one of the few that seems to have issues. For thr thousands I spent on this matress, I was expecting much better quality than this.

We bought this mattress 30 days ago. It is the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever owned. We are tossing and turning all night long. This mattress causes extreme back pain and numbness in the arms for side sleepers. We have tried kneeling and walking on mattress to loosen up, but nothing works. I am now sleeping on the couch. We called 2 days ago to return and we are still waiting to hear back from a representative from Tempur-Pedic. So far, not an easy return process as suggested by salesperson in flagship store.
