The first year on our new Tempur Pedic Adapt Medium was great. Soft yet firm, with support everywhere you need it. Just like I remember from the Tempur Pedics that I slept on for years throughout high school and again after college. But almost to the day one year later, I started noticing neck pain when I woke up. It wouldn't go away, and started getting worse. I got the Tempur Pedic neck pillow, which did help a bit, and my wife says it reduced my snoring. But the neck pain never went away, with some days worse that others. After a few more months, my wife started having trouble sleeping because of back pain. Then I started getting back pain when lying on my back. We realized the areas where we sleep had gone completely soft, yet the sag in the top layer did not meet the company's warranty standards - as determined from the photos that they told me to take and send in. But this issue is not visible from the outside; it is a failure of the foam cells throughout the midlayers of the mattress. I can feel it by shifting to the center of the bed where neither of our bodies lie while sleeping. It feels like a ridge that you can balance on, like a thin sliver of support. But because of the properties of memory foam, there is no way to evaluate this without lying down on it. The mattress retains it's level form even as the interior foam completely breaks down. The company makes an effort to brand themselves as 'high end' and charge a fortune for their products. But just like their beds, the support from Tempur Pedic's customer service team is also severely lacking. It is very impersonal and you feel somewhat betrayed after getting completely shut down without a fair analysis. I am very disappointed with the way this company has become after being a previously happy customer. I used to recommend the beds anytime the subject came up, but I will never again. The product has gotten worse instead of better, and their service is abysmal.

We have an older double Tempur-Pedic our guest bedroom, which we liked, so we decided to purchase a queen Tempur-Pedic for our bedroom. We have had the mattress for about three weeks and it's okay. The mattress is not as comfortable as we thought it would be. It is somewhat disappointing in a word. We also purchased pillows (BOGO), they are too hard, in fact, my wife after the first night after getting and using the pillows went back to her old pillow.

The company honored our prior owned queen mattress on an adjustable frame with a credit toward a new Adapt Medium Hybrid. It fits the old frame and we find it very comfortable and we are especially happy with the additional support on the sides of the mattress.

I have had the Tempur-Adapt mattress for a little less than two years now. It only worked and provided good sleep for a few month. I am sinking into the mattress so much that even when resting on the mattress for a short while I feel stiff and in ache. I mostly sleep on my back and side. I am very disappointed in the customer service and the quality of this mattress. I feel like their entire marketing, product description and premium quality is a lie. I've been sleeping better on my sofa.

We have had our tempur-pedic mattress for over 10 years. It is the best thing we have ever bought. I am shopping for a larger size now. When I go to bed it is with pleasure as I lie down and feel the bed seem to hug me. You will not be sorry. My husband has a bad back, fused neck, bad shoulder, bad knees and lots of health problems. This mattress has been his only help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Time will only tell but I am enjoying this mattress. It is definitely a firm mattress which I love. It sleeps a tiny bit cooler then our seals I comfort. I am definitely experiencing a lot less hip pain.

I think everyone expects Tempur-pedic to be a great experience and the quality to be superior to other brands, and we willingly pay a slightly higher price for that. But what we get from that exchange is an amazing night's sleep every night. There is no price one can put on that. No more aches and pains in my back, no more neck problems, and I actually sleep through the night now, having never moved or turned from where I fell asleep. I used the mattresses that come in a box for 20 years straight. And I only had two of them, one of which I still have in a guest bedroom. They don't break down, and I slept relatively well on them, but as you get older, you simply need better. Nothing even comes close to the kind of sleep I get on my Tempur-pedic, hybrid, medium mattress. I think after 20 years of minor league mattresses, I not only deserve but can seriously appreciate a purchase like this. I should've bought one 10 years ago, LOL! If you are considering purchasing a memory foam or hybrid mattress, there are many brands to choose from. But Tempur-pedic started it all, and their warranty is far above and beyond what most any mattress company offers. if the bed sinks, just 3/4 of an inch, they send a new mattress, at a y point throughout the 10 years of warranty. I highly doubt it will sink at all, but if it does, I'm covered. The cool top layer is amazing! I never get hot like previous mattresses, and that alone is worth it. Easily rated 11 out of 10 stars for this customer!! I hope you find one that fits your needs. Because when you do, you'll know it almost immediately. And you'll never look back, except to buy another one in 10 to 20 years that suits your changing needs for good, restful sleep. Many, many wonderful nights and naps ahead!

We bought tempur adapt med with the power base. WORST purchase ever. Waste of $4000. Don't buy from tempur authorized retailers. Paid cash april 2023, Took 3 weeks and threatening to have the debit reversed for delivery, white glove delivery is 2 teens with your mattress out of the box strapped to a short bed pickup with the base folded in the dirty bed. The mattress is so hard even after 6 weeks we had to add a topper to make it bearable. When the base is used the mattress does not bend and floats above the base unless you sit on it and then the foot of the bed just bends straight up from the hip leaves 18 inches of space between the bottom of the mattress and the base. There is NO support from tempur if you buy from a retailer and tempur doesn't care if they have bad retailers. When called Tempur didn't even care when the retailer delivered FAKE tempur pillows and sheets (different brand on the tags and packaging sold as tempur) I wonder about the mattress being fake too as it's not like the one we tried. And beware tempur does not require the 90 night trial be honored by their retailers or the free returns/exchanges. So if you want to try one of these don't use an "authorized" retailer because tempur doesn't back the purchase. The only time i wish i would have bought online.

I have waited almost 6 months before writing a review to give the mattress time to break in. My one word review is: disappointing. I have dreamed of owning one of these for over a decade and finally bought one of Black Friday of 2023. It feels nice enough when you lay on it as the matress forms around your body. It did help with neck pain I was having and some of my back aches from the previous matress. But, after just a few months the back aches have returned. Some nights I can't find a comfortable position and get up early as my back is hurting too much. I am sad that I am one of the few that seems to have issues. For thr thousands I spent on this matress, I was expecting much better quality than this.
