My husband loves this bed and is getting better sleep than ever before. He did not sleep well before and he says this bed has prevented him from tossing and turning as much. He prefers a more firm bed and I prefer the more plush beds. I realize this bed is supposed to be on the firmer side, but I'm having a hard time adjusting to just how firm it is-especially when I flip on my side. I toss and turn more than I expected to and when I do, it takes the bed some time to adjust to my new sleep position. I have also been getting very hot every night and have had a hard time regulating my temperature in this bed. Between my husband and I, the bed becomes a heater and we have to turn the air conditioner down to 67° or lower for a semi-comfortable sleeping temperature. I will disclose that I'm 12 weeks pregnant and that may have something to do with my experience.

The company honored our prior owned queen mattress on an adjustable frame with a credit toward a new Adapt Medium Hybrid. It fits the old frame and we find it very comfortable and we are especially happy with the additional support on the sides of the mattress.

This is our 2nd Tempur-Pedic mattress. We have both the Adapt Medium and the AdaptPro Medium and absolutely love both. They are the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on. You can't put a price on good sleep and being pain free and Tempur-Pedic is a 10/10 on both. Would highly recommend the Adapt and ProAdapt models!

At first it was difficult to get used to but as time went by, it got better. Now I can't live without it. Wait the 20 days and don't give up. It's well worth it. Happy sleeping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a tempur pedic mattress for the last 15 years - and I finally got one. I had slept on one while a guest at a relative's house, and I have never had such an amazing and restful night of sleep. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! Unfortunately, it was explained to me that the tempur "adapt" mattress is the "original" tempur pedic mattress. So that was what was ordered for my house. I have had it for over a week, and I keep waking up in pain every morning. I am very disappointed, as it is not at all reminiscent of a traditional tempur pedic product, in my opinion. I am waiting on a team member to get back to me, so I can get a proper replacement. Fingers crossed

Too early to comment because we just recently bought the bed but we are still adapting ourselves on its impact to our physical health and wellness. As we grow old, we want to pamper our body with comfort and that is basically what we are expecting on our new bed. And of course the durability of the bed hope it will last longer.

I said if she could afford it, I would love a temperpedic. I was okay with just that but she added the adjustable base. Our marital bed is the best gift we received , I'm so happy we did. Comfort, no aches, No noises when either of us move (I toss a lot) and the base is great for posture. Breakfast in bed and when not feeling well. Happy customers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first you might be surprised how hard it feels when you lay down, but as it gets adjusted to your body and warms up you won't find a better and more comfortable mattress out there . It supports you just in the right spots and you will ask yourself why you did not purchase it way earlier.

At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.
