We purchased our mattress in December of 2016 and I was excited to try it out. I was hoping that the memory foam would help with my shoulders, low back, etc. My husband didn't have any issues. When we went to the store to check the mattresses out, the salesman made a big deal about us laying down on the mattresses so we could select the one that best fit our needs. Well the Medium firm mattress felt wonderful. And we laid on it for quite a while. We also tried the Soft one and it was very soft and didn't seem to have any support. So after discussing with the salesman, he said that it would probably take 60 days to break in the mattress so that it would be like the one we tried in the store. And if we were not happy with it, we could return it for a different one. Within 30 days, both my husband and I could hardly walk when we got up in the morning. The mattress was so hard. I put a foam pad on it and that helped a little. So we went back to the store to see if we could get a different one. They said we should give it more time and that we should not have added the foam - well they weren't sleeping on the darned thing. They also said we could trade it in for the Soft mattress but it would cost more money. I was really frustrated. The thing already cost us an arm and a leg, I felt we had already paid too much and didn't want to pay more money only to find out the soft one wouldn't work either. They also said that the reason the medium mattress felt so good at the store was because so many people had laid on it, trying it out, so it was broken in really good. So we went home disappointed and feeling like we were ripped off and determined to make the mattress work for us so we didn't have to pay more money to the store. After 90 days, the mattress was still as hard as it had been day 1. So we put the foam pad back on it. It has now been over 2 years and it is still as hard as it was on day 1. And yes, the foam pad is still on there. With the foam pad, we aren't limping out of bed. I firmly believe we were delivered the hard mattress. Lessons learned - (1) it does not help to try out mattress in the store, as they are not what you will receive; (2) don't believe the salesman when he says you can bring it back, there will be a catch; (3) buy a cheaper mattress so you can afford to get another one when the new one doesn't work out. I'm writing this at 1:30 am because I can't sleep, my shoulders are aching from laying on the mattress.

First of all let me say that this bed wasn't my first option. I had purchased a Sealy hybrid Mattress plush.great mattress but I did notice that the queen was more narrow then my previos bed. So after the 30 day trial I returned it and decided to give the temper pedic hybrid a shot. Well let me just say that I am 1000% percent satisfied with my purchase. First the bed it's an actual queen size bed. 60' across. Secondly even though it's a medium firm bed and I'm a true side sleeper I was totally restfully sleeping on this bed just like a newborn baby. This bed it's a must have. Trust me you won't regret it. Yes it's a lil pricey but worth every penny. You get what you pay for. This mattress rockssssss. Now I'm sleeping like a king again. Thank you temper pedic for such a great product.

I haven't slept on it yet, but the serial number to register for warranty was under the mattress at the head. I bought a king so after I put the protector on I say down to register. You need to move that tag!!! I hurt my back lifting the king mattress by myself. I have no one to help. If I knew about this when they delivered. I could have easily written it before they put it in place!!! Move the tag. I will speak to the dealer about advising customers about this!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TEMPUR-Adapt Medium has been comfortable, supportive, and has given me more consistent sleep on a nightly basis. I would recommend the softer version for a side sleeper, but these mattresses sleep cool and so far have not developed a "hole" where I sleep.

We bought tempur adapt med with the power base. WORST purchase ever. Waste of $4000. Don't buy from tempur authorized retailers. Paid cash april 2023, Took 3 weeks and threatening to have the debit reversed for delivery, white glove delivery is 2 teens with your mattress out of the box strapped to a short bed pickup with the base folded in the dirty bed. The mattress is so hard even after 6 weeks we had to add a topper to make it bearable. When the base is used the mattress does not bend and floats above the base unless you sit on it and then the foot of the bed just bends straight up from the hip leaves 18 inches of space between the bottom of the mattress and the base. There is NO support from tempur if you buy from a retailer and tempur doesn't care if they have bad retailers. When called Tempur didn't even care when the retailer delivered FAKE tempur pillows and sheets (different brand on the tags and packaging sold as tempur) I wonder about the mattress being fake too as it's not like the one we tried. And beware tempur does not require the 90 night trial be honored by their retailers or the free returns/exchanges. So if you want to try one of these don't use an "authorized" retailer because tempur doesn't back the purchase. The only time i wish i would have bought online.

Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with this mattress . Basically seemed comfortable but both my wife and myself are waking up with Back Pain. We had very High hopes but very disappointed. In the process of exchanging the Mattress our customer rep wanted to boost the cost up $ 1200 more for your firm Mattress. Wow this seems like we made a poor choice They are making a effort with another Mattress and seems things are jumping around to other products in there stock . My wife will need to revisit the store before they make the exchange to discover if this was the one we actually tested . So we do appreciate your concerns but we are unable to give you a satisfactory rating and seems it will be another brand You can keep in touch if you want to find out how this turns out

Quality bed and comfortable enough. I don't think it's definitfly worth the price tag. Thought I would be sleeping on a cloud for the price. Still hurts my back and wake up achy and so does hubby. The white glove delivery service was very disappointing and Tempur-Pedic in the sense that they didn't remove my old mattress even though it's describing they do so with the free white glove delivery service. Went back and forth with both the company who delivered my bed and temper pedic. Tempur-Pedic ended up telling me they would come get my old bed after they delivered my bed. Which made no sense. That was about three weeks ago. Well guess what still here. Situation was never resolved. For paying this much for a bed you should stand behind your word in customer service. Not worth calling back to return my bed-no one even knew if we did return it and ended up exchanging how much the charge would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now, I have to admit, the firm is a little more firm then I would have liked but it is good for my back. I have Scoliosis and poor vericose veins and being able to adjust my bed has given me great relief! The massage feature is a great bonus.

LOVE our Tempurpedic mattress! Happy we got the adjustable base as the anti-snore position has really helped. The firmness of the mattress is perfect for us and we look forward to going to sleep every night! The only complaint is that it was a real chore to attach our headboard to the Reverie base. Maybe this would have worked better with a tempurpedic base but those were considerably higher priced.

It's a firm mattress that does give with your body. It's a comfortable mattress. The store were we brought the mattress he said I needed to get the high profile base but I have some trouble getting in the bed because I am short. So I think the low profile would have been better for me. It's a very nice mattress.
