[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this bed after RETURNING for an exchange, a recommended Sterns & Foster. My Dr. recommended a Tempur-pedic as I've had back successful surgery in the past. This mattress molds to your body. We bought the 'Medium' after trying it in the store along with trying the 'Soft'. It's been almost 2 months and my opinion is this mattress is still a little stiff. We were told to give it a 'few weeks'. We do believe we chose the right mattress for us. Wish we could have afforded the newer model that's supposed to be 'cooler', as we live in Florida year round.

I was hoping as the salesman said it was cooler and better than the other brands I looked at and Tempurpedic has been around for along time so I went with his recommendation. I don't find it to be cool,I still am waking up hot and tossing and turning most of the night. I have only had it for 3 weeks so I am giving it a fair trial and hoping that I have better luck as the salesman said it takes a good month to get used to it.

I decided to invest ina new mattress because I was having trouble with my back and the old mattress I had was terrible. After much research, and trying it out in the store, I decided on Adapt Medium Hybrid. My back pain got worse. When I wake up, I am so uncomfortable that I have to do a series of stretches to unkink my body. I am returning it. Unfortunately, the base is non-refundable. I'm just hoping the next mattress is better.

We have had this mattress for a few weeks. So far, we have no complaints! It is very comfortable and we are sleeping well. We purchased this after owning a spring mattress that was worn out and caused back pain and difficulty getting comfortable. The Adapt Medium is the perfect firmness for us. The mattress feels like it hugs you when you lay on it. So far, I would highly recommend!

The ability to rise my legs in a comfortable position was amazing. Reading or watching TV is more relaxing when I can adjust the level of my pillow easily.

But once I adjusted to this mattress, it has been smooth sailing ever since. No more tossing and turning, no more waking up in the middle of the night! I wake up rested and refreshed, and no aching back. The mattress conforms to my body and supports every inch. After five long years of sleeping on a miserable Serta Willowbrook that broke down just after the grace period expired, I'm finally getting the good nights sleep I needed. After reading through, watching tons of reviews, and trying out many mattresses I chose the Tempur Adapt. I sleep through the night. In one week my back, neck, and hip pain are gone! It was the poor mattress previous sleeping on. Truly an amazing difference. Even the dog loves it he digs the covers off so he's aon the actual bed. Give yourself a week + to get used to it especially if you slept on an innnerspring in the past it's different but a great different. Get the pillows to it's all worth the cost. I am going to use the 90 day sleep guarantee and step up one level to the Tempur Pro Adapt. Just a bit more cost wise but for me I want the additional 1" APR, (Advanced Pressure Relief), material and bit more cooling concept as I sleep hot. If you are considering a new mattress look no further!

So far I really like this bed. My hip flexors no longer hurt. No pressure on different parts of the body make for great sleep. It hasn't been the 90 days that is recommended but so far I'm loving the bed. Only negative is I read you can't use a heated blanket. I really miss that now that the weather is changing.

Tempurpedic has knocked it out of the park with this bed and I've been sleeping better than I have in a long time. I was a little hesitant before buying because I've never owned a "non-spring" mattress but I'm so glad I decided to get this!

Was very very hopeful about this mattress, but I am side sleeper and get no support in my lower back. I wake up everyday with so much back pain, and toss and turn all night. We used our sleep trial to get this mattress so I'm unfortunately stuck with it and pain for a long time. Would only recommend this product if you are very small and have narrow hips and shoulders.
