I am struggling with my new mattress. Even though it is 'Medium' it is much too firm. I have not been able to sleep well & frequently have a back ache in the morning & my hips ache throughout the night so I have to turn from one side to the other. I am being told to give it 30-60 days for the mattress to adapt to my body. Very disappointed with this experience.

This mattress is so comfortable. I'm a side sleeper and was always waking up with hip pain from our old mattress, but no more. Within the first couple of days is sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic, the hip pain and random aches were gone. Very happy with this purchase.

With my old mattresses I would wake up with back and hip pain feeling more tired than when I went to sleep. Since getting this mattress I wake up refreshed every day and feel great.

On the very first night of sleeping on our new Tempurpedic, I slept the whole night through. This has changed everything. I'm no longer tired during the day; instead, I am focused and sharp.

I've had this mattress for a month now. It was recommended due to the fact that my husband and I sleep in different positions. He's generally a stomach sleeper and I'm a side sleeper. He's generally fine with the mattress and thinks it's a good choice. I on the other hand am experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort that lasts throughout the day. Disappointed. Hoping it's only due to needing a break in period but at this stage it seems unlikely to change. It's also a pretty warm mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With our old mattress My husband often woke up with shoulder pain and I always woke up with back pain - since getting our new Tempurpedic we have both slept more soundly and wake up refreshed - no pain. The only issue that we had was the offgassing of the mattress which prevented me from sleeping on it the first few nights - but I am very sensitive to fumes in general. After a few days of airing the bedroom out with fans it was fine and I have been thrilled with it since my first night on it.

I've never paid close to this much for a mattress before, but upon reflecting that we spend a third of our life sleeping I decided to splurge (I bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid). The very first night I slept on it I thought it was a bit too firm for me, but now after a month it feels perfect. This mattress just feels so luxurious and comfortable that I now look forward to going to bed! I was advised to buy a mattress protector and would highly recommend one.

My husband was having neck problems sleeping. I was having lower back pain with our old mattress. I dont feel any more pain after switching to this mattress. We both have very physical demanding jobs and train for marathons and triathlons. We are so RECHARGED! Stage 4 every night. It's like having a recliner at the same time.
