[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used memory foam mattresses for years in my whole family. This mattress blows all of those other ones out of the water. At first we were a little skeptical about the firmness. Upon laying on the bed at first it feels like it is going to be a hard mattress, but as you lay on it you can feel your body kind of sinking into it. The mattress really does conform to your body. I used to toss and turn all night long trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep in. With this mattress I roll onto my side and I move maybe once during the night to readjust myself, because I no longer feel the aches from being in the same position while sleeping. I love that this mattress does not cause any aches and pains while sleeping in one spot for hours. I can even fall asleep better with this mattress. I have a hard time with falling asleep at night, but I get so comfortable and relaxed in this mattress that that hasn't been an issue. I used to have to take Melatonin just to be able to fall asleep. With this new mattress that has not been an issue for me. The one downside I think of this mattress has is the thickness. I personally prefer a thicker mattress, and a higher bed. That is a small issue in the grand scheme of things and I would choose a comfortable mattress over the depth of a mattress for visual reasons. I would recommend this mattress for anyone who wakes up with everyday aches and pains, because they WILL be gone. You will wake up refreshed and well rested! This is the forth tempurpedic mattress I have bought. It started with my daughter who had serious back pains and after I got her the tempurpedic mattress no more pains in the morning. Of course my other child had to get one along with myself and before you know it four tempurpedic mattresses were bought to ensure when our children come over there is a tempurpedic for them to sleep on. For a great sleep I strongly recomend the tempurpedic mattress.

I liked the mattress and found it very comfortable. My husband didnt like it and didnt sleep well on it. I'm hoping he will adjust to the feel of it and sleep well after a few more nights. If not, I hope I can return it during the 90 day trial period.

First I have to say is that it is a good mattress and my wife loves it. Unfortunately my back and hips are killing me. My wife is normal height and weight, but I'm 6' 3" and weigh 250 so maybe I'm the problem. What I would like to do is switch to a medium non hybrid and see if that fixes the problem since the wife Loves the bed, but as you know you can only change one time ( and I understand why) I am going to have to switch to a non hybrid firm mattress because my back can't take another mattress like this. On the plus side since I got this mattress I get up before 5 every morning (because of the pain) and have been able to get to work before every one else I guess if I had to make a recommendation I would have to say go ahead purchase a tempurpedic mattress but don't buy the hybrid if your a bigger person the springs won't support you properly.

The matress is more on the firm side of the spectrum, with a conforming soft foam top. I do enjoy the back support the matress offers. I do recommend this TEMPRUR-PEDIC matress if you enjoy a firm mattress with a little give on top the TEMPUR-ADAPT is for you.

Before, he would wake up in the middle of the night constantly to toss and turn; but now, he sleeps like a rock. We both have chronic back pain and now we don't cringe with pain when we wake up. Unbelievable! We loved it so much I recommended it to my parents. Needless to say, my dad is no longer complaining about his bed giving him backaches.

We bought this mattress to replace a bulky pillow top mattress with a large indentation on my side of the bed. I really like the way this mattress takes its shape back when I'm out of it. Also I thought it may help with my lower back pain when getting out of bed. Unfortunately it's not the case the back pain is still there. Not the fault of the mattress. Temperpedic is a great mattress.

My Dr. recommended a Tempur-pedic as I've had back successful surgery in the past. This mattress molds to your body. We bought the 'Medium' after trying it in the store along with trying the 'Soft'. It's been almost 2 months and my opinion is this mattress is still a little stiff. We were told to give it a 'few weeks'. We do believe we chose the right mattress for us. Wish we could have afforded the newer model that's supposed to be 'cooler', as we live in Florida year round.
