After our dealer finally delivered the right bed, I personally love it, more nights of restful sleep for me. My husband apparently is never getting a restful nights sleep. This mattress is not cooling by any stretch of the imagine.... I mean unless you sleep on only the mattress. But you see here's the kicker. You have a warranty for this bed, as long as there are no stains etc. So you are forced into buying a cover, which keeps you from potentially staining the mattress but probably obscures the "cooling" feature of said mattress. I'm purely guessing here, but I would think my husband profuse sweating would qualify as a stain which would render the warranty void according to our dealer. So if this mattress really is cooling we would never know. Same goes for these awful "cooling" pillows, they do not work either. They didn't offer pillow covers, so I am sure they are no longer under warranty. Idk its an awful lot of money to spend on the possibilty of a cooling good nights sleep. Not sure I could recommend this to everyone, especially to those without a diagnosed reason for hot sleeping with sweating. Yet I'm happy with this mattress and so is my back, which I have a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease and I usually wake up pretty refreshed and feeling well with my back!

It is not quite as "soft" as we would have anticipated with a medium firmness. After seeing all the rave reviews and paying the cost of this mattress, we were anticipating "game changing" sleep, but that has not been the case for us.

Let me say, of the bat, this mattress puts me right to sleep. I love the way it supports me especially when sleeping on my side. Looking back, I wish I would've gotten the cool option to make it even better. I will say, I thought my random back pain would go away but no luck. Which is something the salesman used as a selling point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tempur Adapt Medium mattress is an extremely comfortable memory foam mattress that is cool to the touch and conforms to your body. I noticed improved sleep while using this mattress as well as reduced motion from my partner during movements throughout the night. Initially I was skeptical about a memory foam mattress but the Tempur Adapt has made me a fan. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking for a great night's sleep. My only con for the Tempur Adapt Medium is the low profile of the mattress. I'm use to a thicker mattress so I felt like I was too close to the floor. Otherwise, this is a superb mattress.

This is our second tempurpedic mattress and we LOVE it, the improvements are noticeable. My husband has finally found relief to his joint pain from his cancer treatments and the Ease base adds so much more to getting in the right position for a great nights sleep! Worth every penny!

This is a great entry-level mattress into Tempurpedic. I just wish some of the other high-end mattresses that have the cooling technology were more affordable because I tend to be a hot sleeper.

I was in a car accident a little over a year ago. Caused two herniated discs. I always woke up in pain that would last the whole day. I went into a furniture store and laid on this. It was FANTASTIC! I knew I had to get it. Ever since I've been sleeping on it I no longer have any pain in my neck and back. I fall asleep super fast, stay asleep too. (That's not normal for me) I will never go back to a normal mattress again. Im super happy that I made this investment! Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used memory foam mattresses for years in my whole family. This mattress blows all of those other ones out of the water. At first we were a little skeptical about the firmness. Upon laying on the bed at first it feels like it is going to be a hard mattress, but as you lay on it you can feel your body kind of sinking into it. The mattress really does conform to your body. I used to toss and turn all night long trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep in. With this mattress I roll onto my side and I move maybe once during the night to readjust myself, because I no longer feel the aches from being in the same position while sleeping. I love that this mattress does not cause any aches and pains while sleeping in one spot for hours. I can even fall asleep better with this mattress. I have a hard time with falling asleep at night, but I get so comfortable and relaxed in this mattress that that hasn't been an issue. I used to have to take Melatonin just to be able to fall asleep. With this new mattress that has not been an issue for me. The one downside I think of this mattress has is the thickness. I personally prefer a thicker mattress, and a higher bed. That is a small issue in the grand scheme of things and I would choose a comfortable mattress over the depth of a mattress for visual reasons. I would recommend this mattress for anyone who wakes up with everyday aches and pains, because they WILL be gone. You will wake up refreshed and well rested! I've had this mattress for a month now. It was recommended due to the fact that my husband and I sleep in different positions. He's generally a stomach sleeper and I'm a side sleeper. He's generally fine with the mattress and thinks it's a good choice. I on the other hand am experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort that lasts throughout the day. Disappointed. Hoping it's only due to needing a break in period but at this stage it seems unlikely to change. It's also a pretty warm mattress.

The Nectar is also rated as a medium firmness according to various mattress review/advertising sites but it conform to your body much like a slab of concrete does. I've been dealing with lower back pain for several years now and with the Nectar I could only lay on my back and would wake up with more stiffness and soreness than I had before going to sleep. The Tempur-Adapt has been amazing for my back regardless if I sleep on my back, stomach or side. When I go to sleep with a sore back from overuse I wake up with zero pain. Waking up pain free more than makes up for the cost of the mattress.
