First of all let me say that this bed wasn't my first option. I had purchased a Sealy hybrid Mattress plush.great mattress but I did notice that the queen was more narrow then my previos bed. So after the 30 day trial I returned it and decided to give the temper pedic hybrid a shot. Well let me just say that I am 1000% percent satisfied with my purchase. First the bed it's an actual queen size bed. 60' across. Secondly even though it's a medium firm bed and I'm a true side sleeper I was totally restfully sleeping on this bed just like a newborn baby. This bed it's a must have. Trust me you won't regret it. Yes it's a lil pricey but worth every penny. You get what you pay for. This mattress rockssssss. Now I'm sleeping like a king again. Thank you temper pedic for such a great product.

For the most part we love the bed. No more back or neck pain. We can't feel the other moving around. And we seem to be sleeping much sounder. Coming from a California King to a split king is a little to get use to. It definitely feel a touch smaller. The dog is not thrilled with the new bed at all and has almost pushed the beds apart (the dog gives it four stars). We also purchased the amazing Cloud pillows. So worth it too.

This brand is expensive and advertises as top quality. This mattress has no cooling feature though is supposed to, and is extremely hard and uncomfortable. I feel I got something that should have been rejected if tested for quality. Do not spend your money. Buy something reasonably priced from any brand.

I had an older Tempurpedic but sold it when I moved from the Caribbean. It was perfect. I thought the Adapt medium would be right, but it's not. It's just a bit firm and I'm waking several times during the night and in the morning with a backache. Thanks to the 90 night trial, I will be exchanging it for an Adapt medium hybrid. It was more comfortable in the store but was not available when I bought the mattress. I'm hoping this will the one.

Had high hopes for temper pedic. First, the outer fabric feels smooth and silky which initially I love. However my mattress protector and sheets are always slipping all over the place because of the sleekness. And in reality it doesn't matter to me how the exterior mattress fabric feels as I never sleep directly on it. Drives me crazy multiple times a night adjusting our sheets and mattress protector. My husband has had back problems ever since we upgraded our 15 year old beat up mattress to this one. We've been sleeping on it for over a year. I just can't ever get comfortable. I toss and turn and adjust our sheets and am hot all night. Although looking at the mattress you can't see indentations of where our bodies sleep you can feel it. I'm average size 5ft 3in my husband is solid 6ft 2in and it feels like laying in our mild if that's makes since. If I try to sleep in the middle when he's away I feel as though I roll into one of our molded sleep spots. Like it's nicely firm around where our bodies actually lay. The spots in which our bodies lay is not firm and mushy, For me I feel my mid section sinks. I'm a stomach sleeper and I feel like the mattress sinks where my stomach lays and arches my back. Overall just an awful mattress and we are sick we spent the money on this. We can't afford another one at this time so we are stuck with it for now. My husband ends up on the couch most nights. Neither of us sleep well. Went camping last week and slept in an air mattress. Woke feel refreshed, energetic, more aches or pains. I miss that.

Unlike other mattresses we have owned, it has not developed any "body impressions.". Since using it, my back problems have improved to the point that I experience less pain than before.

Since day 1, we've enjoyed our tempurpedic adapt medium mattress! I was afraid that we wouldn't like it the first week, but we've loved it! This is the most rest we've had in a very long time! There isn't anything I would change. We did get the adjustable base, it's good for reading in bed and the zero gravity is so comfortable to just lounge in! Thank you!

This is our second Tempur Pedic mattress. The first one lasted 15 years.....it was still comfortable but it was just time to replace it. It took NO time at all for my husband and I to get used to it. We slept like babies from the first night on....(no...we didn't wake up crying for a bottle every two hours ! LOL!!! ) If it's time for you to replace your mattress, we HIGHLY recommend a TempurPedic. Take your time and try out all your options. You won't be sorry!

However, it is a huge improvement over the box spring mattress that I had. I think that the nonhybrid would have been better for us because we each weigh less than 200 lbs and it would be softer. If you are going to get this only get the mattress because if you don't like it you can always return it and not incur the extra expense of a non-returnable platform. If you like the mattress you can always get the platform later. Overall, its the best mattress I have owned so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been happy with this purchase. Split king is the way to go, still roomy but easier to manage the separate pieces. My husband loves the ability to elevate his legs while watching TV. He struggles with edema in his legs and since purchasing this bed it has dramatically reduced.
