The razor glides across my face without any irritation. The trim blade on the back is very useful and works really well

Additional lubricant strip tends to make the blades skate over, rather than cut, beard growth. Not worth the additional cost.

so far it is a great product, best one ever. I just got the new one and it's awesome, still got the old pro glide too.
