Razors are great and shipping was fast. I wasn’t as pleased with the optical shop in Raleigh, person was rude.

I have sensitive skin and shave daily, since I started using these last year I have had no issues at all.

I have very sensitive skin and I am very prone to shaving bumps and irritation. I usually use the Mach III razor but still get bad razor burns at times. This Razor is superior to the Mach III. I still got a razor burn but the shave was closer and more comfortable. I didn't notice any difference with the flex ball but razor blades and the comfort guard were set up well and made the experience better. I like the item and would recommend it.

I am truly impressed with how well the razor works on my face. My face has been looking smoother and hairless, thanks to gillette. Finally i can say no more razor cuts or burns. I must say for me who had tried many other razors. I was truly impressed i found a shavor that wasn't cheap but also i knew my money will be going to a good product and not to junk. I have tried other shavers which weren't the best and some were cheap and even pricey and still couldn't do exactly what i expected. Until i came across gillette and tried it for the first time. I was so happy and amazed on how well this razor took all the hair off my face and left no razor burns or cuts. The best part yet no more irritation. What makes it even better was the free shaving cream i got with it. Which i must say made my face feel soft and easy to shave without having irritation or feeling burns on my skin. Gillette will be the razor i will be using from now on...bye bye to all the other razors. Gillette is the best and has done everything i expected a razor i pay for to do. My wife loves my face now and al she talks about is how nice my skin feels and love giving so much more kisses. Thanks to gillette my confidence is back and i look better then ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picking a razor is rather tricky for me. I have sensitive skin, and my facial hair grows back very quickly. I need a blade that will let me have a smooth shave, and also that won't irritate my skin afterwards. I truly believe I solved my problem with this blade. After a week's use, which was 3 shaves, my skin was smooth and not irritated. This is now my preferred blade to use.

I tried both manual razors and I found that the ProGlide is superior to the ProShield. I use the razors to shave my head and I found that the lubricating strips wear down faster than the other razor also the micro comb on the ProShield irritates my skin and gives the shave a coarser feel. It actually feels like I have to take more strokes to get a better shave than the ProGlide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me first start by saying that I'm reviewing this razor after receiving a complimentary one prior to release from Gillette. That being said, I've been a long time paying Gillette customer. From the Mach3 razors to the ProGlide with Flexball technology I've tried each new update to their product line and here's the bottom line. Gillette finds a way to constantly improve an already great product line. I'm a daily shaver and have used both manual and electric razors. For my regular electric I use a Braun 790cc which is great for a decently close daily shave. But as any daily shaver will tell you, nothing compares to the closeness and precision of a manual razor. I've tried Schick products and even a brief stint with one of the low cost monthly subscription razor services. Nothing comes close to Gillette's quality. The trade-off is cost and with the latest ProShield razor the story is no different. This is a top quality razor priced on the high end of comparable products. With this you are going to get what I find to be the absolute best shave you can get with going to a professional barber for a straight razor shave service. What separates this razor from the pack is the precision blades, lubricating strips, trimmer and the flex action that contours to every curve of your face. At the end of my first few uses I was left feeling like I did just leave a professional barber for shave. Wow! If I had to pinpoint any cons as this is an objective review I would have to state that razor head is not small so if you enjoy a smaller head like on the early iteration of Gillette razors (Mach3, etc) then you may first try the ProGlide before moving straight to the ProShield. The lubricating strips do make a difference but does it warrant a price bump from just the standard replacement blades that go with the Fusion ProGlide Flexball? My personal opinion is no if you're using a decent enough quality shaving cream. There in lies my only other notable con...the price for replacement blades. They will add up and if you're a daily shaver you may be able to squeeze up to a week and a half to maybe two weeks of use before the blade requires replacement. All said, this is the best manual razor ont the market today by a longshot. Are there some trade-offs? Sure there are but name a razor where there isn't. I will gladly pay for the replacement blades on my ProShield because after experiencing the quality of shave and level of protection it provides, I know there is no better available. This razor blows away the closest competition and is light years beyond the subscription market razors. On a side note, the Gillette Sensitive Skin ProGlide Shaving Cream is a worthy compliment to this razor if you're not married to another particular shaving cream. It has the feel, lather, texture and finish of creams several times the cost.

It might be the wrong cream, gel, or razor, so I was a bit cautious when using the Fusion razor. It was straight forward, very comfortable and made short work of it. Best of all no irritation. Try it out and you won't be let down.

I can't say enough about the quality of the shave it provides.. I want everyone to give this razor a try, i will never switch back to anything else!!

I have used these blades for the past 6 years or so and think they are great. I use them for a month. My only complaint is new razor handles do not come with a holder like they used to. No where to put your razor when not using or to hold extra blades. Please fix this
