I spent a fortune buying every kind of electric shaver you can buy and I tried every kind of hand held razor you can find and all I could do was cut up my face. First let me state that I am 45 years old and I think my hair is changing a bit and a lot on my face. I never had problems shaving before but now and for the past few months I've been miserable. I would cut my face to pieces and I was so unhappy with it, I really didn't know what to do. One day I received The Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor with Flexball Technology and that was the day my shaving life has changed for the better. Why not, I've tried everything else. I thought: Big deal, this is will probably be like all the rest but I'm going to give it a try!! Well lo and behold: This razor DEFINITELY TOOK THE CAKE-!! CAN YOU SAY: OH HAPPY DAYS?.........I was as skeptical as I am with alllllllll the rest of the things I have tried....and lo and behold........it glides over my face and I can shave alllllllllllllllll day long with it and it ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT CUT MY FACE....ABSOLUTELY NO WAY-!!!!!! I practically started jumping up and down on the bed telling my wife how FABULOUS this razor is!! Now listen to this ladies: Don't borrow this razor from your husband because they are very inexpensive and you can have your own and they will shave your legs as smooth as a baby's behind!! You'll love this razor, too!! My wife has very fine hair and this razor will not cut you so you'll be very happy with it-guaranteed!! If it doesn't work for you-then I will go and eat rocks!! She has the smoothest legs ever!! They downright shine-without any lotion on them!! So don't think twice about giving this razor a try!!

I started shaving in 7th grade and back then I just had to worry about a few wimpy hairs above my upper lip. Now I'm outta highschool and I have places to be and people I want to impress plus a few more hairs than what I originally sported in 7th grade. Shaving to me was never something I dreaded (luckily I don't seem to have very sensitive skin and I am not too susceptible to bumps or ingrown hairs) but at the same time it wasn't something I enjoyed much either. This began to change though when one day I started getting curious and I wanted to adventure outside of some of the razors I was using (mostly disposables like the Gillette Sensor 2 which is a very nice disposable but not my preferred regular shaver and a couple cartridge razors from Gillette competitors that I had been gifted by family) I tried a safety razor and while I understand the appeal it just isn't for me. While you can get a real nice shave with one it takes practice to not nick yourself and even more practice to get proficient and consistent with one and even upon becoming proficient with one it is still much more time consuming shaving with a safety razor than going with a cartridge/disposable razor. Having had that experience I decided maybe I should look back towards cartridge razors but instead try a different brand and that's when I ran into the Proshield. The shave I get from this razor is amazing. It's quick and close and the 5 blades means there is never a need for more than 1 pass which saves so much time I'd normally spend doing multiple passes with a safety razor to get a similar close shave. The lubrication strips are a nice addition and help make the shave even more refreshing and can be a nice way to tell about how worn out your cartridge is. The handle has a little bit of weight to it which not only makes it feel high quality but also makes it so I don't need to apply much pressure at all and I can just let the razor do its job. Personally I am very satisfied with how much use I get out of each cartridge but this will vary from individual to individual based on your shaving habits, how well you take care of your cartridge, and in general just when you like to swap it out. Just be sure to keep your cartridge nice and clean and to store your razor in a good spot after you shave. Overall this razor has definitely earned its spot in my shaving routine and has made shaving much more enjoyable for me as well as giving me a quicker, closer, and more refreshing shave each and every time.

It leaves a clean smooth shave. It leaves me refresh and clean. No more double shaving or having scratchy skin. Wife is loving it. You won't regret getting one. Do I have any complains about it? Honestly none what so ever. Thanks Gillette for the opportunity on been able to try before you buy.

These are great in design and function for use in spaces as delicate, but less public facing area than your face. Fille has instructions on this website about this little spoken of "other" men's use for razors. And it shouldn't be secretive or shameful or whatever the issue is. Nobody ever told me as a young man this was even an option, and I wish they had. In my 40s, I only started this close of a non trimmer shave last year. I'll never go back. There's benefits that range from comfort to summertime freshness, to your other half being a guaranteed fan of a close shave, increased access, and cosmetic appeal. The tree out front looks taller once that mess on the ground was cleaned up, if you catch my drift. Guess what else? Know what nobody likes? A hair in their mouth. So act accordingly! And let's start educating young men. We're not gorillas for Pete's sake! (The "add photo" button below would get me arrested in some states. I'll politely decline.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually the wife at this point has snagged up my good razor and dulled it to holy heck, however even with her snagging it in "secret" like as if woman, it's still as sharp and strong as it was the first day I used it a week ago! The trimmer is a huge benefit as well on it! I love the Gillette gave me this razor, a refill and a WHOLE can of shaving gel for FREE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin when it comes to shaving so I am hesitant to try new items. It has been a while since I have so I decided to give one a try. Gillette sent me their Fusion ProSheild with Flexball technology for free to give a spin and I have to say, "Great Razor!" It has passed my first test, comfort. I used it to shave under my neck and it was quick and easy. The multiple razors and Flexball allowed me to finish the shave quickly which is important. What I mean is less strokes, which means less aggravation and irritation. It was a clean and close shave. I will know in a few days how regrowth is and that will be the final test but so far so good. I would recommend this product so go get one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave up in using multi blade razors due to the fact that they are expensive and provided no real benefit over using a single blade safety razor. I guess I also just like to feel a little bit hipster as well :) When I got this in the mail i was a bit reluctant to try it, but I went straight ahead and ripped it open and let it glide against my face. I don't like using shaving cream much, so I shave after I shower with nothing more than a bit of water. The dual hydrating pads on the razor worked very well and kept the razor gliding without problem. I was very happy with the way that it handled my jaw line. It made my face smooth and left me with 0 razor burn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I think that Gillette hit the mark dead center with this razor. The flexball worked perfectly. I've never had any issues with razors on my cheeks or face but my neck was always tough. Most razors cut into my skin as I go under my chin onto my neck. And that causes those terrible looking neck bumps. Thankfully with the flexball that didn't happen at all! The transition around my chin onto my neck was smooth and I got no irritation. 3 uses in and no neck bumps or red marks. The only down side I have found in my research into the flexball is its price. It's a little expensive for blade refills...that's the only thing keeping this product from being 5 stars.
