[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Shaver 7020s Solo is a compact razor that makes for a comfortable shave. I have sensitive skin and experience irritation with a lot if electric razors but I never experienced any with this shaver. It does not create as close of a shave as a manual razor. The shaver kept it's charge for quite a while after it was charged. Overall I like this shaver but do miss the closeness that a regular razor gives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have rather thick facial hair that causes most cartridge razors to become single-use, which is why I decided to try using a daily electric razor. Enter the Braun 7020. Out of the box, it had a charge. I figured I would be waiting a few hours before I could even use it, so this was a pleasant surprise. In addition to thick facial hair, I would consider my facial skin to be quite sensitive, so that was my other major worry about an electric razor. I was able to shave my face, which had about 2-3 days of growth at the time, in less than 10 minutes. While this wasn't as close of a shave as cartridge razors, it certainly was quite acceptable and far more convenient. Cleaning the razor seemed a bit too simple. I was expecting something far more complicated, but it was very much removing the head and shaking it a little. It was so simple, in fact, that I actually looked at the documentation to make sure I wasn't missing anything. The travel/storage case it comes in is also quite convenient to simply store with my travel bag. In the two trips I've taken, I have not used my cartridge razor a single time. Overall, I am very happy with the Braun shaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Braun shaver in the past but for the last year or so I was using disposable razors. I could get a close shave otherwise. I always thought my angular jaw made it so difficult to taper my short beard and occasional mustache. I really like this shaver because it's gentle and powerful enough without needing to constantly go over the same spots. That's my biggest pet peeve. Realizing you missed a spot. It also handles around my mole easily. Any man that shaves on the regular would love this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shaving is a huge hassle for me, tough beard, takes a lot of time, can be messy, etc. I give this 4/5 stars. It does everything it says it will, it's relatively precise, easy to use, doesn't make a mess, I've used it six or seven times, now without having to recharge. I'd have given it 5 stars if I felt it could fully replace a wet shave. At this point I'm not ready to say it is better than that but it certainly is more convenient. Overall I would recommend this!

I bought this back in December and I hate this razor. First of all there are now written instructions, only illustrations, that I find confusing. Braun does not even have written instructions for this razor at their website. If you have been using a braun razor previously, the illustrations may be fine, but they don't work for me. Seriously how much are they saving by not having written instructions, maybe .50 per unit. Second is that this razor does not perform very well, the closeness of the shave is lacking, I didn't expect it to be as close as a blade, but this just does not get it. You have to go over and over your face to get it to cut all the hair, in the end the whole process takes longer than with a blade. It also does a terrible job on your neck. I assume because of the lack of bone structure in the neck area, when you put pressure on the razor the neck also compresses. To get a decent shave I end of spending about double the time that I do with a blade. Shaving cream helps but not enough. Third and to me this is the deal breaker. After using this razor for about a week (I only shave every other day) I started developing hard red bumps on my face. These are not pimples, these were much harder more like cysts. I think this is probably a result of the cleaning solution. The cleaning solution is FLAMMABLE! It says that it contains ethanol and is an eye irritant. So, you are supposed to put your razor in the cleaning and charging station after use. It then rinses the razor with this solution. I am sure that after the razor dries, there must still me some residue left on the razor, then you are supposed to put this on your face. It just doesn't make sense to me.

The intuitive controls and button features make the shaving experience a breeze and a painless effort every morning. I really like the modes of shave from this shaver. I can get the shave I want with the press of a button and in mnutes, I have a high quality shave. I really like the overall feel and look of this shaver too. The handle is ergonomic and easy to use and get used to. I love the ease of cleaning this shaver too. I get a nice clean shaver each and every time I sue this shaver. I really recommend this product t all men who would like to have a great shave every morning!
