It can be applied about two days before anticipated rainfall or you can elect to water it in with your sprinkler. It goes into my spreader easily and it's evenly distributed throughout my grass with the spreader. Overall, time will tell how effective it is, but so far, I am pleased with the application process.

I was excited to try the Member's Mark version of this for my starved lawn. We had unusually early spring rains and the weeds came up choking my lawn. I bought 2 bags to try on my visible front. I applied immediately before flood irrigating to 4 inches of water and two days later the grass was a deep green and I could see the dandelions and thistle begin to shrivel. Three weeks later for my next scheduled irrigation I purchased 3 more bags for my back yard but ran out so now I got an additional three to finish my 1.19 acres of grass.
