It catches mainly horse flies, but I have seen it catch nets and fruit flies as well. There is no scent or odor that comes from it and it’s really easy to replace the sticky pad overall a very good product and worth every penny, I will be purchasing this on a regular basis.

Installation was quite simple, and I like that it operates silently without using aerosols or chemicals. Cleaning is also very convenient; you simply remove the adhesive pad when it’s full and replace it with a new one without coming into direct contact with the insects. The results are a 10 out of 10, and the lifespan of the pad depends on the number of insects in the house. It is very convenient since it doesn’t take up much space and requires minimal maintenance, offering a simple and easy way to control the small insects found in the home.

It also attracts spiders bc of all the bugs its caught. I always fond webs nearby and then im able to get ride of them too. The bkue light gives an ambiance to the area. I have one in my bathroom kitchen and living room .

I placed it in a plug behind my kitchen table (somewhat out of sight) and when I checked it - it was loaded with small bugs and several flys! I don’t like even one fly in my house so I am happy this product is doing it’s job.Very effective in catching pesky flies/bugs. Backing is very sticky! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the trap for a little bit now and I can honestly say that it's been doing a great job. Every here and again, I have seen gnats flying around and then they disappear. The light isn't too bothersome in the kitchen and it hasn't started blinking yet, so the insert isn't at capacity yet. It makes zero noise and you can twist it so instead of it being vertical, it can sit horizontal in case you don't have real estate above. I haven't checked to see how much replacements are yet, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
