It was incredibly easy to set up, and within the first day I could already see it catching gnats and houseflies. I love that it works continuously without using sprays or strong odors, which is especially important with a newborn in the house. It’s quiet, effective, and gives peace of mind knowing it’s helpful keeping flying bugs under control. I definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with pesky flying insects.

It catches all kinds of insects; the light attracts them and they get stuck to it. I have a bug zapper paddle which smaller bugs fly right through the mesh unscathed. Argh. I bought a fly swat. But they can really be evasive at times. For the first week or two, I was really disappointed because the trap caught nothing. In fact, there was a bug that decided to sit on the wall next to it one day. Spiteful jerk. But then it did start getting some bugs in it. Yay! Most of the bugs it has caught so far are the small ones that can fly through the mesh of your windows screens. But I am still pleased to have another item actively working to catch them whatever size the insect happens to be. I would recommend trying it. Depending on the area you are in and the bugs it could make a much more dramatic difference for you.
