It’s chemical free, odorless, and safe to use around kids and pets. I use it in my kitchen and it attracts all the flies, easy to use, changing the cartridge is easy with no mess. It’s wonderful because it’s easy to install simply take it out of the box remove the film covering the sticky backing and plug it in. Once it’s plugged in you just walk away it doesn’t make sound and at night it’s a bonus night light. I like that it can be rotated so that it can be placed under cabinets if it wouldn’t fit. I loved it so much I purchased another one. I highly recommend it’s something you forget is in the house working silently . Place close to windows or doors to encourage the flies to be attracted to the light.

It works great. No noise, no chemicals, no cord, just a light that also works great as a nightlight. I'm sure if my house had more bugs, they'd be in there. I don't know what happened, but about two days prior to it showing up, I was bombarded by little fruit flies, and I cannot get rid of them. I can't tell you how excited I was to open this up because they were driving me nuts, and they wouldn't go away. This was so easy to set up! I cannot wait for these fruit flies to disappear. It was simple and easy to put together, and not only that, the spot that I chose is the same spot where I had a night light, so it’s honestly going to still have the night light effect, which is perfect for my dog. I need that if I'm going to continue to keep it there; I have to have a light so that he can see since he only has one eye. This actually worked out perfectly. I love that it gives off light because that still creates an almost night light vibe when the light is off in the kitchen, along with helping to continue to catch these horrible fruit flies that are driving me nuts.

We love keeping fresh fruit in the house, but in the summer the fruit flies always seem to show up and become such a nuisance. By day two, I was already seeing results with fruit flies caught on the trap. The blue and UV light really does attract them, and I love that it works without sprays or messy solutions. The curved shield is a great design feature because it keeps the bugs hidden, which makes it much more pleasant to have in the kitchen.
