I have small children and a dog in my home so I didn't want to spray poison, and this was perfect because it doesn't use chemicals or odors. It looks nice, it's easy to use, and I can feel safe using it in my home. It was easy to install, and you simply pull out the used sticky trap and replace it with a new one.

I have tried almost every DIY tricks and traps on the market, and honestly, nothing seemed to help. When I came across by Zevo plug in Flying insect trap I wanted to give it a shot. I definitely had my doubts at first. But... I plugged this unit in right next to my basement hallway and was blown away the next day... it really kicked in. Within a single week, the trap sticker was absolutely full of fruit flies and other little bugs. It caught a massive chunk of them before I could even see them flying around. The science behind is pretty straightforward: it uses a specific blue and UV light spectto provide continously, 24/7 attraction. Because it runs day and night, it lures in basically anything that flies -big or small- and anchors them to a powerful sticky insert. What I like : 1. Insanely effective. 2. Discreet," Air freshener"look. 3. 100% spray free and odorless. 4. Smart reminders to check and change cartridge. What I don't like: While brands says a 6 week check cycle, I found the inserts realistically last about 3 to 4 weeks. Even though the glue is still technically sticky,the dust starts to settle on the pad which makes it bit less effective at grabbing the bugs. I wish the inserts maintained peak performance just a little bit longer. Overall, I am so impressed that I am already purchasing refilling and another unit specifically for my bathroom.

It is summer right now and thats when all kinds of flying insects invade my house. I try to not let any bugs fly in whenever I open my door, but flies and mosquitos will sometimes make their way in. This trap will make sure my home is free from those annoying pests. Its very easy to setup up. Just peel the backing off of the sticky pad, slide it back in, and plug it into the outlet. The blue light will lure the flies into the sticky pad. When its full, dispose of the sticky pad and slide a new one in. I plugged this in the hall at the top of the stairs so that they wont get into our bedrooms. I like that it also doubles as a night light. The plug also rotates 90 degrees to fit your outlet situation.
