The insects are caught entirely on the adhesive backing on the reverse side. You never have to actually touch the dead bug or sticky surface. It is clean and safe enough to be used anywhere in the house. UV lights and led lights are to lure the bugs. It normally takes up full outlet spot. It won’t instantly clear the full swarm of flies. This needs to be checked and replaced every 15 days.

It is amazing to use with just the ultraviolet light to attract the flying insects to the sticky trap and they are captured. It's easy to dispose of by just pulling the sticky part out and putting a refill in. It is very worth the cost and value cause there is no mess and it is very inexpensive.
