It was set up in less than 30 seconds, it does take up a large amount of room in your outlets, so it could not possibly be the lower outlet if you had something else plugged in. I ran mine for two days and got some fruit flies. I was surprised at how intensely blue the light is. Depending on the set up of your house and where you had the plug, I could see the blue glow being annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Zevo trap for a few days now and is pretty decent. The appearance is subtle and fits nicely into an open outlet. It operates with absolutely zero noise, which is fantastic compared to traditional loud bug zappers. Maintenance and disposal are very straightforward since you never have to actually touch any bugs—you just swap out the refills. I really appreciate the safety aspect of not having to spray chemicals around the family. It catches a solid amount of gnats and other smaller bugs but not so much flies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest I didn't have a lot of faith in this since it seemed like this a sticky bad when I open the box but after plugging it in in the next morning, checking it, and there were already fruit flies on there. I am now a believer I plugged this in away from my countertops, just to see if it really attracted them. I had noticed just a few fruit flies after bringing in some fruit from a local farmers market so it came at the perfect time. It's not distracting because it's plugged in closer to the floor. There's no odor. After saying that it does in fact work I've already ordered refills and another compact unit to put in my office because in the summertime when we go back to school in the building is reopened there are always fruit flies and drain flies that come out out of nowhere that drive us crazy I have previously tried all of the home remedies for fruit flies. THe only solution I had found previously that works caused our whole office to smell like vinegar, which is not pleasant. There is no odor to me that is a win automatically.

Little fruit flies super easy to plug in, does not take up alot of space, even had a little blue light, which I like alot, very sturdy and durable not a flimsy products at all, I dont kotoce a smell but this is absolutely worth the buy! I will have these all over my home and they are super easy to clean!
