Size is slightly bigger than I'd like but it means it catches more bugs. Safe to use around kids and animals. I recommend getting one. Refills cost slightly more than I'd like but can manage.

I came back to check on it about 10 minutes after and there were already small gnats stuck to the inside! It attracted them so quickly. It's small enough to not be noticeable in your area, there is no smell, and there aren't any harsh chemicals so it is very safe for kids and pets (even near fruit/food). There is no smell.

Assembly was simple , just plug it in and it's ready to go . Effectiveness-wise I noticed a real drop in flies within the first few days of use . In addition, the coverage held up well for a kitchen sized space. The build feels sturdy and well made , not flimsy like other plug-in devices I've used . In terms of attractiveness , the sleek white design and blue light blend into my kitchen instead of standing out.

The cartridge comes already in the back of the product you slide it up and peel off the sticky back and slide it back into the canister. I have mine plugged in on my countertop near where I keep the fruit. I always remove to get fruit flies near them. This so far works well. I haven't noticed any insects. It's easy to replace the cartridges as well.

It doesn't involve any stinky toxic chemicals, just a very sticky cartridge that's easy to swap out. It doesn't emit any buzzing noise - it's completely silent. It does however have a blue light (which is part of what attracts insects) but can also be used as a night light so I like this aspect of it. I keep it near my plants for the small bugs/gnats that like to grow in the soul. Long time user of this product and love it!
