It does not generate any noise that can interrupt activities and draws the attention of mosquitoes and mosquitoes to prevent them from biting my children or me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Zevo Indoor Flying Insect Trap is highly effective at catching bugs and fruit flies, but it requires some strategic placement and compromises. What really saved this device for me was the ability to rotate the plug 90°. Because of how my wall outlets are positioned, having that flexibility was essential to making it fit my space. That being said, the trap itself is quite large. Even with the rotation, is still crowds the outlet and makes it a bit harder to plug anything else into the second socket. You also need to plan your layout carefully. The UV/blue light attraction is only effective placed near the problem areas where the bugs actually hang out. Because of this, I had to physically rearrange my set up and move my produce and house plants closer to an available outlet to get the trap to work properly; making the adjustments was worth the effort. The trap was effective and capturing bugs within the first few hours. The device is easy to see whether or not it's working thanks to the blue light. I also appreciate that it will let me know if the cartridge works needs to be changed by flashing.
