The blue light attracts them in the dark and also works well during the daytime as well. It was super simple to set up and easy to change out the traps once full.

During the summer my daughters and our dogs are constantly going outside and back in leaving the door open a few times so naturally we struggle with flies. We also buy more fruit during the summer months so we deal with fruit flies occasionally. This product is a game changer. The appearance is more appealing than a fly trap tape. I was amazed by just how much it has caught just the few days of using this product. Definitely highly recommend this product. I have even already raved about it to close family and friends.

Love that it has a blue light to attract the insects and no chemical insecticides. I'll be adding one to several rooms in the home that have entryways. So far so great is to assemble by peeling off the sticky backing and reinserting the tray and plug in. Super simple. Noise free best of all.

I didn't realize how many little gnats were flying around, but it does an amazing job. We also have a sliding glass door in that same area that we have open the majority of the day and even though there's a screen, the gnats are tiny and get through. I will definitely be purchasing refills and we'll probably add another one to plug-in near the kitchen. It's super easy to put together, literally only takes a second. It's absolutely worth the value.

Right now I have this one in kitchen since sometimes we get flies from open doors and also those gnats from fruit and the like.
