I keep it near my dog door since my dogs go in and out freely, which means tiny insects sometimes sneak inside with them. It's a bit larger than I expected, so it does take up the whole outlet and you'll likely need to plug it in by itself. Overall, I highly recommend it!

It's small enough that you can still use the outlet below it and it is not an eyesore to see around the house. I've noticed a significant reduction in the amount of gnats around the house! Lets be honest, come time the weather starts to get warmer out no matter how clean your home is gnats, fruit flies, etc are an absolute nuisance and nightmare! Especially if you live by water and wooded areas. I personally despise having those sticky long strips hanging from your ceiling. Almost embarrassed in a sense if that makes sense. From a first glance you wouldn't even think thats what this is! All you have to do is take it out of the box, peel the strip of the back and plug it in!Absolutely great product for those pesky gnats! Will definitely be buying more! If you've been looking for something other than those hanging ceiling sticky strips, this is it! Absolutely recommend this hands down!!!

I plugged this trap in as a preventable measure and within the first week it's already caught about 5 fruit flies that u didn't even realize were in the house! I live that it's working in the background before a small problem turns into something bigger.
