It quietly catches flies and other flying insects with out any buzzing sounds, sprays or odors. The blue light is faint and not distracting at all. I was surprised by how my flies it caught so quickly and how it’s an easy, low maintenance solution. I would definitely recommend getting a Zevo if looking for a solution for flying bugs.

Ever since my new neighbors moved in, I've noticed fruit flies mysteriously everywhere without a source. I've tried apple cider vinegar traps and they help, but I needed more, and those smell bad. These Zevo things actually WORK for fruit flies! This is 24 hours and already it's got several trapped on it. I do think the glue could be just a little stickier, because I saw one fruit fly who might have been able to leave after landing on it but I helped him stick to the trap. These work better at night plus I don't mind a little night light in my kitchen. They are a little bulky, but I'm sure they wouldn't be as effective if they were tiny. I know this company has a home size of this, and that would be very interesting to see in comparison to see if the home model is actually as effective, or maybe even more effective. There's no bad smell or any chemical worry for me. I was comfortable handling them, and I felt very safe. My neighbor had also told me about this product shortly before I was selected to receive it, and I wanted to try it but wasn't sure if I could trust something like this not to be a waste of money. Now I'll be telling all my other neighbors about it because it's hassle free!

I don’t know if the lack of bugs on the sticky pad is reflective of the lack of bugs in our house, however, I do think the idea behind this is great. The blue light definitely lures bugs to the Zevo trap, which helps catch them. It is out of the way and is protected around so pets aren’t bothered by it. The instructions were clear and it was SO EASY to use and install. I would love for it to be more effective with more types of insects, though.
