Living in the south, we have a lot of mosquitoes & gnats that like to find their way in doors every time the door opens. This product has been very effective at trapping any insects that find their way inside the house. The light isn’t too bright but enough that insects are attracted to it. There is no noise that you can hear or any smell. It fits into a plug in without any difficulty. This is definitely a game changer during the summer months in the Deep South. 10/10 recommend!

I plugged it in, kept checking every hour to see if it had trapped any fruit flies in my mother's home (SHE HAS A LOT) and nothing. I left it alone for a week and I noticed it trapped some. This won't solve your fruit fly problems, but it helps. I have to convince my mom to toss out old fruit, refrigerate most of her fruit, and to not leave uncovered food to help combat fruit flies. I like that its easy to set up and use. I also love how easy it is to replace the sticky insert. The blue/purple glow light is soothing and adds a nice touch to the kitchen. It doesn't make any buzzing sounds. Overall, great product that catches flies and mosquitos as well. I would recommend and buy additional packs.

The maintenance is simple just remove and dispose and they have packs for replacement sticky flims at the store. It plugs into a house hold outlet which is safe for children. It only works when the sticky part is connected. It can rotate 90 degrees to be able to fit any outlet.
