[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this trap for about a month by leaving it plugged into an outlet near the fruit in my kitchen. The results are shown in the photo. It did catch one fly, but that was only because I had already hit it with a fly swatter and it was too weak to fly properly. I don’t think this trap can catch healthy flies that are flying around normally. It also wasn’t strong enough to attract the small fruit flies that would come near me while I was eating, so don’t expect immediate results. At night, I kept the kitchen dark and left this trap as the only light source. It never completely eliminated the fruit flies, but I also didn’t notice their number is increasing, so I think the trap helped to some extent.

It's so easy to use - just peel off the backing of the cartridge, plug and wait. The soft blue light is pleasant and looks more like a night light than a bug trap. The trap itself also looks nice so it blends with the home instead of being obvious. Since it plugs in, it really can be used anywhere indoors. The image I've taken shows the bugs that were trapped overnight in my room with a lot of aphids. I've used traditional yellow sticky tapes before and they work, but take longer to catch as many flies. For comparison, the image I have shows a sticky tape after 3 days of use. This is a great product for a clean product that works well and blends well in a home.

There was a lot this summer and now I’ve only seen a couple so it has gotten the job done. I would purchase more and change out the inside to keep it catching more flies. There is no odor or noise, just a purplish blue light if you don’t mind that it’s minimal on sight but nothing on smell. Which I rather see it then smell it.

It took a while for it to trap some critters given that I don’t get many bugs in the house. I did use it outside while grilling and having dinner in the patio. It caught EVERYTHING! The design is sleek and modern, the light looks great at night.

It's durable and has a nice design - we hardly notice it. I will say, we still have a fly or two flying around that seems to have no interest in being trapped!
