I have it plugged in a few feet from our back door, which is the door that we use the most and after about a month it absolutely has trapped a number of bugs! (Yay!) However- we've still had quite a few gnats that we've had flying around that we've killed So I guess if it's a numbers game, its caught somewhere between 75-90% of the little flying bugs that have gotten into our house which is pretty great It doesn't give off any type of sound, just a soft blue glow, which is kind of nice as it acts as a pseudo nightlight Overall I do like it and will buy replacements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get the Zevo insect trap thinking that it would get all of the big flies that we had earlier this summer. Anytime we would open the door several flies would come into our house and it was both gross and annoying! Well, the best thing for the big flies is still the good old fashioned fly swatter. However, the Zevo works for fruit flies and other creepy crawlers. It has the sticker on the back that traps the bugs, and the UV light draws them in. We put it next to our trash can where we throw away the banana peels etc. It's both icky and satisfying to see how many bugs and fruit flies the Zevo has trapped. We also have a professional pest control that comes a few times a year. But we still get lots of bugs being in a tropical climate! Because we have pets, I like that the Zevo does not use harsh chemicals- it's like a fancy fly tape catcher that you used to see in older country houses.
