As you can see by the pics, it does attract and trap some of the smaller bugs. It works well for the ones that are attracted to the light. There is no odor. U just plug it in and let it do its thing. You can change out the sticky pad easily. Overall a good product I will be keeping around especially in the summer my months when those small flying bugs are active.

I put it in a small corner near where my kitchen meets my living room and have noticed a lot less insects in my house. I like the light blue light but it's a little big for small areas. This was the compact size and it completely covers a wall outlet. I put this in my living room under my large window and it worked within minutes of plugging in. I'm looking forward to seeing how long it works but after 3 weeks, it still seems to be working fine.
