I wanted it in the kitchen but needed to find an area away from meal prep. The blue light is on all the time. Don't put it near a window or other sources of light as it'll distract the flying buggers (you want them to attract to the blue light). The indicator tells you when it's time to change. The only suggestion I have is that a replacement cartridge be included next time. Other than that, it has been great. No more sawtting around and messing with homemad deterrents.

The Zevo flying insect trap is easy to install. All you have to do is remove the protective paper, slide the cartridge in, and plug it into the wall. It works great for gnats and fruit flies. The best part about it is it requires no chemicals and produces no odors. I highly recommend purchasing a Zevo flying insect trap especially for the summer time.

The blue light is just the right brightness to attract flying bugs, and the trap plugs easily into any standard outlet. After the very first night, several insects were already stuck to the adhesive cartridge. When I checked it again the following night, even more bugs had been captured. It was impressive to see how quickly and effectively it worked. I also appreciate that the adhesive cartridges are replaceable, and I plan to purchase refills when needed. Next, forget about this working in the daytime. Most natural light drowns out the shine that draws in the bugs. This doesn't work well until night time.

I have tried similar light traps before but haven't seen one that promised to trap house flies so I was excited to try it out. I set it up next to my fruit basket in the kitchen as we also had some fruit flies at the time. I liked that you could rotate it to fit 2 different ways. The size is nice and fits fine in the back corner that we don't use but might seem a little large and intrusive if you plug it into a high traffic area. Set up took about 1 minute. Then I just waited. I left it up for two weeks before making this review and you can see the bugs that it caught. Overall I'm disappointed as I still have houseflies and it didn't catch any. They don't seem to be attracted to this trap at all. It managed to catch some fruit flies but the apple shaped ones on my counter have caught way more. I'd say it will trap whatever happens to wander into it, but does not seem to attract bugs. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

These catch anything from fungus gnats to mosquitoes that get in! If anyone has ever had fungus gnats they know how much they truly are a pain! I will purchase more of these and keep them in various locations around my kitchen. I keep this one on the counter behind my fruit bowl and it does an incredible job trapping those pesky bugs!

This works great for fruit flies or any other pest that you may have flying around the house or any other place you don't want them. It is very easy to use just peel off the outer layer of film and plug in to an outlet. Leaves no odor behind that some traps may leave with luring scents. Great for keeping away the insects you don't want hanging around.
