You just take off the plastic and plug in and it's already working. I have had one plugged by the back door and it's catching all the bugs my dog and kids are inviting in with them! It's so easy to throw out the sticky part and change it out so you can keep using it year round! I have used this product nonstop since I found it! It's a must have in your home!

While it didn't catch as many house flies as I expected, I was amazed by how effective it was at catching gnats. I honestly had no idea I had that many until I saw the trap! If you're dealing with gnats or other small flying insects, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

I plugged it in near the back door, and it provides a nice light in the dark. The design is simple, yet it performs better than I expected. In less than 12 hours, it had already caught at least one fly, and since then, it's trapped other insects, including fruit flies. Summer insects can be overwhelming, so I'm glad to have a product that actually works. So far, the Zevo insect trap has been very effective at catching mosquitoes and gnats. I was actually impressed by how many it collected. However, I was surprised that it hasn't caught a single fly yet despite having several around after the party. One thing I do love is that it is designed with child safety in mind. The enclosed semi dome design and bright blue lights attract flying insects while keeping it safe to have plugged in around kids. I think it's a great product and does what it claims for smaller flying insects. I'm just not sure why the flies don't seem to be attracted to it. I'll continue to use awhile longer and update my review if that changes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Peel the sticky, plug in, and go! Make sure that you choose an area with ample space as it is a bit tall (can be rotated). I wanted it in the kitchen but needed to find an area away from meal prep. The blue light is on all the time. Don't put it near a window or other sources of light as it'll distract the flying buggers (you want them to attract to the blue light). The indicator tells you when it's time to change. The only suggestion I have is that a replacement cartridge be included next time. Other than that, it has been great. No more sawtting around and messing with homemad deterrents.
