We selected the "firm" as per in store examples and seemed to be okay and comfortable, The mattress that was delivered is as hard as our floor. We added a topper which did not help. After 3 weeks I have finally created a somewhat softer area that I stay within but getting up is more like climbing out! My wife has since moved to the sofa as she has prior back issues. This is the worst excuse for a mattress ever created!

Our original tempurpedic lasted 15 years before getting worn. We bought another brand foam mattress at a lower cost. Started having backaches and sciatic nerve issues. After 88 nights returned it and got our new Tempurpedic. Instant relief and felt like our original tempur when it was new. Will never own anything else. These firm mattresses are wonderful.

After 22 years sleeping on our wedding gift from my parents, it was time for us to get a new bed! After our sleep study by kind & knowledgable Ana, we were able to find a mattress & power base to suit both our needs! After the first night we felt improvements, now, 3 weeks later...on this new bed... I feel like an entirely new person! I have less pain, more energy & I feel like I breathe better too! There's nothing like putting your bed in a Zero Gravity position for a few minutes, then stretching yourself back into the flat position... it's like a chiropractor IN my bedroom!!! This time we decided to go Tempurpedic as we heard they had a hybrid and that they had perfected keeping you cool. To date we are pleased with our purchase. it's worth the extra cost for the hybrid. We purchased the adjustable frame and enjoy the luxury of choices it gives us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid King Mattress for about two weeks now. I also got the Ergo Extend Adjustable Bass. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I finally get a good nights sleep. I also suffer from acid reflux and often wake up during the middle of the night with it. That hasn't happened since I got my new bed. Having the adjustable base has really made a difference. I was worried that the mattress would sleep warm due to the foam, but that hasn't been an issue. The only negative thing I'd have to say is in regards to the base. Not a big issue but the included USB Ports are located underneath the base and aren't super easy to get to. I've seen other bases where they are on the side and that would make more sense to me. Overall I'm very happy. Yes the bed/base is expensive but in my opinion well worth the money. I'm wishing I would have bought it sooner!

We are loving this mattress. I used to wake up 3 and 4 times a night and never would I sleep later than 4 a.m. Now I am waking up at 7-7:30. Good thing we are retired! The only negative thing I would say is that it is hard to change positions, but being able to sleep all night and get a full night's sleep is wonderful.

At the store, I realized that a slightly less firm one actually feels better on joints. The bed is super comfortable, and I find that I change position much less during the night (usually 2-3 times only). That makes for a more restful night and I wake up more alert and ready to go. At first, the 'squishiness' of the mattress when I sat on it made me wonder if it would be comfy, but it is the most comfortable one I've ever had.

Requires a period of adjustment but it's the best nights sleep I've had in a very long time. No longer having hip and back pain. The mattress conforms you your body for full support. Have recommended it to others and they purchased one and love it too. The pillows are just as comfortable.

It's strange to say but I feel like I get better sleep, not more sleep but better sleep. I got the adjustable base, the cheapest one, and it's awesome! Zero gravity it my favorite! I have been telling my family and friends it was worth every penny. Now my kids want one :). I got the split king and the hardest part to get used to was the split between the beds.
