The line shaver attachment head does give a solid line cut. Only issue I had was the bulkiness of the line shaver head to maneuver around my beard with clear sight.

The shaving head is wider than the blades, so it makes it difficult to get a clean shave next to beard and sideburns. Also, it was about 90% effective. It left hairs on my neck even after going over them several times. I'll stick to regular blades. What it did manage to get turned out smooth.
