Close shave with this razor. Terrific product.

Bought this razor thinking Braun was a superior razor. The S7 is the worst razor I have owned. I have a very light beard but I have to go over %26 over to get a close shave. I always pulls which makes for a very painful. I have gone back to my old Panasonic. Even though it makes a noise it is much better than this crappy razor. Do not buy this razor !!!

Current Model of a great electric razor and cleaning system at a better price than I could find at other places.

This is my first experience with an electric razor. Takes longer to shave and doesn’t shave as closely as a traditional multi blade razor. I was put on blood thinners so nice to not have to worry about nicks and prolonged bleeding.

I've had this for years, but forgot why I stopped using it. I had a Panasonic that lasted many, many years, and gave a superior shave. What I'd forgotten about this one is that though I had a slightly earlier model of the Series 7, it had the same blade placement and layout as this current model. The Panasonic finally died, and I reverted to this one and an even older Braun Series 3. I generally use the Series 3 over the Series 7, particularly if I've let my beard grow two or more full days. The head on this model will "grab" the longer beard hairs out at the ends of the head and simply try to pull them out of my face! It's quite painful, and occurs every two or three passes through the 2+ day old growth, until I've got it down to about a day's length. Therefore, unless I'm only saving a single day's growth (1½ days at most), I simply will not use the Series 7 - I just use the old Series 3. IF I'm only shaving about a day's growth, the Series 7 does a little faster job, and overall does a much closer shave (generally almost as good as an old blade razor with shaving cream). But the pulling of hairs by some means, out at the ends of the shaving head, is a game-ender for me with this model. When this and the Series 3 die on me, I will not chance going back with another Braun (previously one of my top preferred brands).

I like my older Braun better as the trimmer is built in. This one you have to take off the top and put on the trimming head to trim beard/mustache.

As many have stated not the closest shave compared to a blade, but it is a great razor for sensitive skin

It took a few time to get use to it. It cuts good on turbo better than the other two settings. Easy to clean. I like it.
