After reading several reviews and trying out this mattress in the store, my wife and I decided to purchase 2 Twin XL's. At first, this mattress seemed comfortable, but after a couple of nights, I noticed that it does not support the upper back, neck, and shoulder areas. I tried several different pillows and tried sleeping in different positions but I just couldn't get to sleep peacefully. When I did wake up, my back was twisted and achy. Secondly, when you turn on your side there is little support and it is quite uncomfortable. After 55 days of restless sleep, I returned this mattress for the Pro Adapt Medium model. With all that being said, what works for one person may not work for another. My wife is satisfied with her mattress but she does not suffer from back and neck issues. Be sure to shop around and try out as many tempur pedic beds as possible before buying. The company has a nice portfolio of different mattress styles and they definitely have something for everyone. Also, make sure you have a pillow that is compatible to the mattress. I noticed that certain pillows work great with some mattresses, but when you switch beds, the pillow takes on a totally different feel. I am pleased that tempur pedic has a return policy. Otherwise, I would be one unhappy sleepless customer. I am very happy with the Pro Adapt Medium Firm Mattress.

Ive had multiple Tempur-Pedic beds, they are perfectly soft and just melt to your body. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a bed I had for over a decade still was warrantied by Tempur-Pedic, was the old 20 year prorated warranty. The warranty process was seamless with honestly the best customer service I have seen from any business, ever... Sherrie Dickerson assisted me in upgrading my warranty to a king sized adapt medium, which is just flawless!!! She is a wonderful person!! Sooooo sweet and helpful! Thank you Sherrie! And thank you Tempur-Pedic for being just an awesome company! I will definitely be brand loyal in the future! Keep up the good work!

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems I called the number for Tempurpedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since i did not buy the mattress direct from Tempurpedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufcturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempurpedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempurpedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempurpedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

I had a Sterns and Foster plush mattress which is a very good mattress. Have some health issues started to have spasms in legs at night. Diagnosis Fibostist, switched mattress to Tempur adapt. Corrected spinal alignment which relieved pressure on nerve. Leg spasms and night cramps ceased. This mattress is very helpful for me to have a good night sleep

My fiancé and I bought this bed and it is the best investment ever. She sleeps on her back and she has slept amazing since the product . She snores every night but won't admit it . Best sleep ever and even better with the adjustable base . We could literally stay in bed all day.

After almost 10 years our matress needed to be replaced, it had splits all over and luckily we had a 10 year warranty that put us on a Tempur-Pedi Adapt which is as comfortable as the older model. We had a choice to go with one of same value or upgrade but we chose to same our money and enjoy another 10 years or more depends how long this one will last and the purchase an upgrade. We had a great 10 yes of Tempur-Pedi and locking forward to another 10+ journey. I will not go with any other brand and will recommend it to everyone you won't regret it. Also purchased the Tempur-Pedi Ergo base to try. So far its good only issue is the stability is very iffy cause it shakes when you move, wish it was as stable as the regular base we had , maybe I just have to get used to it..

My husband and I decided to buy a tempurpedic 12 years ago and all I can say is WOW, it has been lifechanging. It took a little getting used to at first and the bed did have an odd smell but eventually that wore off and I have not had a night of backpain now in almost 12 years! There are so many benefits to owning one of these mattresses. The mattresses are made to last an extremely long time, unlike regular mattress where you generally need to replace them after 10 years. And, because they are form fitted to your area, you aren't interrupted at night when your partner moves or gets out of bed. Whenever we leave to visit somewhere, our first comment is always how much we want to get back to our tempurpedic :). I am so grateful to have found this lifesaving product and encourage anyone to make an investment into a healthy, pain free night of rest!

At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.

The mattress is fantastic. I am extremely pleased we went with the King size and the hybrid. We have had a Temper-Pedic mattress before (not hybrid) so we did not need the coils for a "transition" purposes, however we definitely like the feel and comfort. For anyone, size is limited on space... however with little kids this has been a blessing for us! I am not sure why we endured the Queen for so long! It does still sleep hotter than I would like but definitely cooler than previous models (I have night sweats so this may be user specific). I wish there was a better mattress protector cover for cooling though. We love the mattress ... biggest complaint is trying to put the sheets on :)
