At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.

So far, so good. I've had it for almost a month and find it very comfortable to sleep on. I'm a little disappointed that my back pain hasn't gone away, which probably means it wasn't solely caused by my old mattress. My neck pain has definitely decreased though. The only thing I don't like about the mattress is that it is really hot to sleep on. I can't use my thick winter comforter because I get so incredibly hot. I really only need a thin blanket and sometimes only a sheet since I've gotten this new mattress. Overall I'm pretty happy with this purchase though.

I had the Tempurpedic Classic Symphony for 12 years and it was the best!! But it began to sag so I used my pro-rated warranty claim for a new mattress and foundation. The Symphony had been discontinued so I was given the medium adapt which is completely different. I have had it for around four weeks and have been in such pain upon waking, in my back, legs, and neck. It is also much higher. I had to buy anothe brand Mattress Topper, which has really helped and really the only way I've been able to keep it. It is comfortable now with it. It's not fair that you not only lose the 90 day trial, but are also stuck with the purchase when you use your warranty. I wish they hadn't discontinued the Symphony as it was firm but plush and comfy. All of the representatives were all very helpful and friendly though, and the claim process was great, other than the fact that I am not happy with the mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd tried Sleep Number, Casper, Sealy premium mattresses...this one actually let's you sleep. I wake up feeling rested all over instead of just irritated to start another day having woken up a bunch of time. Was a little warmer under the covers but I've just switched to a lighter blanket and now no issues. Glad I have a mattress I can keep for years now!

We purchased 2 Adapt Twin XL Mattresses and we absolutely love them. Our only problem is that we cannot find a fitted sheet that works with the units. All of the sheets are made with much deeper pockets than what these mattresses actually are. Our sheets slide all over and are way way too deep for how slim these mattresses are. We feel like we are sleeping in a mess of fabric. The beds are great but even their own sheets don't fit how shallow they are. If anyone has a solution, I would much appreciate it.

We first bought the soft Tempur-Pedic and it was comfortable but a bit too soft for my husband as he had trouble getting out of bed. We brought it back and got the Tempur Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress. We on were on it for quite awhile in the store and thought it was comfortable however after the first night I woke up with my lower back and shoulder hurting. It was worst the second night. My husband thought the mattress was fine. I regret getting it and wish we were able to return it. We have lost a great deal of money on this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Queen Tempur-Pedic and loved it so much that when we decided to get a bigger bed we moved the queen to the guest room and bought a king Tempur-Pedic. We got the adjustable base with both which is great for me because I have back problems and being able to raise my head and feet helps to relieve some of the pain.

Tempurpedic has knocked it out of the park with this bed and I've been sleeping better than I have in a long time. I was a little hesitant before buying because I've never owned a "non-spring" mattress but I'm so glad I decided to get this!

We have had our mattress for 4 weeks. It was rough at first. Mattress was very firm and had to be "broken in" It took 3 weeks but now I'm getting the best sleep! For my husband it only took a few days. I am a side sleeper but this bed feels so good I notice I stay on my back longer than usual. My husband said his back is no longer hurting and he feels refreshed when he wake up. I notice I can get right up and don't feel tired in the morning. This mattress conforms to you but you don't sink in so low that you can't change positions. Edge support is awesome! We got the Ease adjustable base and we will never lay flat again lol We didn't realize what we were missing having an old broke down mattress! So far so good!

The mattress is comfortable, but every set of sheets and mattress protectors (including the Tempur-Protect Mattress Protector) we've used are so slippery that they move all night long. The Tempur-Protect Mattress Protector was supposed to be non-slip, but it it is just as slippery as the other much less expensive ones we've tried.
