This mattress also requires a 2+ week break in period (starts as medium-firm to firm), but this is a bit typical for foam mattresses. The true benefit of getting this mattress versus the competitors is the better warranty for sagging, and, possibly, a longer life cycle due to higher quality materials. There is discussion that certain layers in this mattress are of lower quality though, so it may not live up to this.

My husband and I purchased the Adapt Medium King mattress after trying several models. We previously had mid to high end conventional mattresses. We would purchase a new mattress every few years. We were also big mattress flippers, constantly trying to spin it to get a better feel. I typically would wake several times a night and rollover to get more comfortable. Additionally I had been experiencing side hip pain which caused me to wake and roll over often. I attributed this to being a middle aged runner and thought it came with the territory. I actually stopped running for a week thinking maybe it would help. Well after a few nights on our new Tempurpedic mattress I must say I was pain free. We have had our mattress for over a month. I sleep great, I am pain free, and best of all I never imagined a bed would feel so good!

We bought tempur adapt med with the power base. WORST purchase ever. Waste of $4000. Don't buy from tempur authorized retailers. Paid cash april 2023, Took 3 weeks and threatening to have the debit reversed for delivery, white glove delivery is 2 teens with your mattress out of the box strapped to a short bed pickup with the base folded in the dirty bed. The mattress is so hard even after 6 weeks we had to add a topper to make it bearable. When the base is used the mattress does not bend and floats above the base unless you sit on it and then the foot of the bed just bends straight up from the hip leaves 18 inches of space between the bottom of the mattress and the base. There is NO support from tempur if you buy from a retailer and tempur doesn't care if they have bad retailers. When called Tempur didn't even care when the retailer delivered FAKE tempur pillows and sheets (different brand on the tags and packaging sold as tempur) I wonder about the mattress being fake too as it's not like the one we tried. And beware tempur does not require the 90 night trial be honored by their retailers or the free returns/exchanges. So if you want to try one of these don't use an "authorized" retailer because tempur doesn't back the purchase. The only time i wish i would have bought online.

I've gotten used to it and I do sleep much better than with my old mattress. I also love that there is no motion transfer, so when my boyfriend wakes up early or I go to bed late we don't wake each other up. Great selling point for couples on different work/sleep schedules.

After using the mattress for a couple months now, we are excited to let you know that it is just as good as the day it arrived! You feel supported no matter if you sleep on your side, or back, etc.. You wake up feeling refreshed. If you can find it in your budget we also highly recommend to couple the mattress with one of their adjustable bases. zero G sleep is a great way to relieve the pain and stress of a long day!!! I really love the comfort of this mattress but the covering is so slick I can't keep sheets on the bed! I've tried putting on a mattress pad; it just wadded up under the fitted sheet. Life with no mattress pad is no better. I'm remaking the bed from the bottom up, because the fitted sheet is in the middle of the bed, every morning. Anyone have fitted sheets with little rubber strips on the bottom?

Went in to get a store brand Hybrid King, and ended buying a Tempur-Adapt Hybrid, I'm 76 and she is 85, I use to wake up with back pain and sleep four to five hours per night, it took a while to get use to it, but I am sleeping seven hours of a good sound sleep, My wife Love's it, she looks forward going to bed early and reading.
