The Tempur-Adapt has been excellent all-around: perfect in comfort level for me, allowing me to get to sleep more quickly and comfortably, and waking up more rested, and without my back pain that I had with my old mattress. I had been concerned about hybrid mattresses and the 'sinking in' sensation, but that was unfounded. Yes, you do get enveloped by the foam a little, more like hugged, and just to the right degree. Super comfortable! And super supportive. Firm yet not! Love it! Also love the settings and the well designed remote control, easy to learn how to use in the dark. Love the (programmable) snore setting, which has eliminated my snoring, and, I believe, also helped my sleep apnea. I just wish the price was more affordable; I would love to give as a gift!

Well, first, we have not had the mattress and base very long, and it is possible that any review would differ over a longer run. Having said this, it appears that my wife and I (on a King long twin) bed, sleep more soundly. My wife has had serious back surgery, over the years, and it also seems that her constant pain is somewhat reduced using this mattress. I work out and push myself. I find that various positions of the base allow for more comfort dealing with exercised- pushed muscles. Our previous mattress was a very good and expensive latex and while the Temper-Pedic allows for a better sleep, I do miss an edging, as it provided a more substantial mounting into bed, especially since my wife and I are on the shorter size. I have figured it out, that is, getting into bed, but if one uses, say, bamboo sheets or other slippery ones, there is always the fear of sliding back to the floor if the mount is not successful. Thankfully, this has not happened, and the base is as low as it goes.

Just purchased our first Tempur-Pedic bed. Upon entering, every sales associate greeted us. Vince took us to four different mattresses, explaining all with expertise. I did not feel pressured, rather I felt like a guest whose needs were trying to be met with professionalism and accuracy. From there Vince showed us several pillow styles until we found the one that best matched our mattress selection. Finally, Vince turned into Al Buddy as he patiently helped me find a pair of slippers that were both cute and comfortable. Finally, the manager Paul helped with finalizing the transaction, both ensuring that everything was correct and that we were highly satisfied before leaving. I'm very excited to try our new bed but based on the store experience I feel confident we will sleep very well! As for customer service, Vince knocked it out of the park! before buying the mattress, tried it out at the store and it was super comfortable, I can feel me sinking in molding to my body. I understand the mattress has to be broken in, but after own one, it doesn't feel the same to the one that I tried at the store that I bought it from. I bought the same one that I have tried. When i sleep on my side and wake up I have pain in my right shoulder. If I could do it over, I would rather spend the money on another mattress.

This brand is expensive and advertises as top quality. This mattress has no cooling feature though is supposed to, and is extremely hard and uncomfortable. I feel I got something that should have been rejected if tested for quality. Do not spend your money. Buy something reasonably priced from any brand.

I love my new mattress. The comfort and feel of this mattress is terrific! I purchased a regular name brand mattress almost two years ago and was miserable from day one. It feel apart within months. I finally broke down and decided to get rid of it. When looking for a new replacement I decided to go by reviews instead of just finding one that was comfortable. With my Tempur-Adapt I FOUND BOTH! I am sleeping better and have not had to turn on my ceiling fan in the middle of the night to "cool off" My only complaint is that my bottom sheet does not stay put. I like a "crisp" feel and have struggled with this. I've purchased "straps" for all four corners and two larger ones going from side to side which help. However, it is a struggle to put them all on weekly. I guess I might spend the money and try the Tempur-pedic sheets. Over all I highly recommend this mattress.

I am bought two mattresses in November for my mom and I. Both mattresses at that time were firm. About a month later I returned mines because it was still really hard and made my whole body hurt. I would get up in the morning and my whole body would be hurting. I have an adjustable base but it didn't matter if I was laying flat out elevated. I got the medium which is OK but I still get up in the morning with back aches. I purchased this bed because it was said to be top of the line, would conform to your body and help to relief body aches this is not the case. I am not satisfied with this product because it did not live up to the hype, and especially the price that I paid for it.

I purchased this mattress to provide relief for lower back pain. I have been using the mattress for about a month now and the mattress does not at all feel like the mattress that I tried in store; the mattress has actually caused more pain in my neck and lower back. A very disappointing purchase.

Although the mattress is very comfortable in and of itself, I can not find any bedding that fits properly. This mattress is slimmer than others and even the tempurpedic mattress cover (which I was told would fit snugly), slides and bunches as do the tempurpedic sheets I purchased with elastic bands. I have never had this problem with a mattress before and am very dissatisfied.
